Routers suggested by Comcast did not include this one. I didn't have a clue as to what to purchase. The Best Buy staff informed me of all the pros and cons of a Router purchase. Excellent information. I was offered by Comcast to rent a Router at about $132 for the year. In two years time I would own it, instead of renting one. I went for this option in the event I cancel my two year contract. Thanks Best Buy for helping me make another excellent informed purchase. I do have to thank the informed staff for knowing the products that they sell. The Best Buy company can be proud of the people working for them. Sincerely yours, One of your loyal customers.

It does everything you want it to and then some! It’s network settings are extremely user friendly and make it easy for people to setup and secure their network.

Works great! No issues, experience an increase in speed in comparison to the Xfinity issues device/modem. Overall, great purchase that will enable me to save on my bill over time.

this saves so much money instead of renting a modem from xfinity. Works better than the modem they provide and with the geek squad coverage, this is a must buy item

Modem works just as I was expecting it to. I was looking for a modem of my own to replace the one I was currently renting from my cable company.

The Nighthawk Router/Modem was easy to set up and allows my whole house to stay connected. I have it connected to a power strip with an on/off button, making it very easy to reset.

It was pretty good, even tho the set up was awful, had to call customer service to set it up, but the internet its pretty fast with this

After installing the modem it worked just the the modem/wifi from the cable company....good speed for Ethernet connection and kids wifi also

I like this product. Sometimes had to reboot couple times but maybe my Xfinity connection.

This modem/router combo works perfectly and has saved us money by eliminating the monthly equipment rental fees from our cable provider.

Bought router to replace the one I was renting from Comcast. Works just as well, if not better than the Comcast router. Plus it will pay for itself.

Easy seamless set up, connected my laptop and entered a few numbers and it was working. Did not have to call Comcast, supposed to wait 15 minutes to actuate was 2 minutes.

before I had a standard comcast box that was payed no 10.00 a month for. This is much better than tha.

My Netgear router was easily adaptable to my cable company. Its reliable and I can count on cable so my disabled mother can watch TV and also answer the phone.

I've had this router for awhile now (still do) I've had no issues and it runs everything in the house all day every day. Would buy again.

No complaints about the router but, the router is supposed to have a back up battery just in case the power goes out and Best Buy failed to tell me that I needed to purchase the battery and when I went back, the store doesn’t carry the battery! I had to order the battery from AMAZON!

It works well but I can’t get it to connect to the app. This means I have to log in to their site directly which is annoying. Their phone support was not helpful and were primarily interested in when I bought it so they could try to claim that I was outside the 30 day free phone support window. I expected more from NetGear so this is disappointing.
