This product was easy to install and it is handling all of my phone and internet needs. I have a signal through the whole house.

You can use this router and take back the comcast rented one. Saves over a $150 a year.

Router serves its purpose by allowing me to get rid of my old router from the cable company and saving my family money.

I like Netgear Products for their user friendliness, and performance thie combo router-modem doesn't disappoint.

This modem works in place of the one that Comcast rents per month. It works great, and I have other Netgear products.

Best Buy associate wisely advised me to buy 2 separate units -- a modem and a router. The modem has to be compatible with Comcast and have voice capability if you intend to use Xfinity VOIP. Then you can use ANY router you want. However, in order to save space, I bought this unit and was very disappointed. BEWARE that there is some issue with the current firmware which causes interruptions in the phone line - - to the extent conversations are not understandable. Unfortunately, the firmware has to be updated directly by Comcast and Netgear could not provide me of a time frame for this to happen. Therefore, returned this combo unit.

The range on the WiFi is decent but not completely compatible with all of XFinity online functionality.

New router is much faster than the rented router that is supplied by xfinity home internet. Great upgrade. Thanks geek squad!

So far has been fine for what we need it for and haven’t had any problems as of yet. :)

The router has performed very well since we installed it no problems at all. Very happy with it.

This was needed for my home office and it was just what I wanted. I would recommend this to anyone who needs this.

Highly recommended. We had Verizon DSL internet with their router (and previously a netgear router) and needed separate extenders to get our 2.9 MBPS sad download speeds throughout house. Upgraded to Xfinity and needed new router to get voice and handle the 130 MBPS download speeds. New router reaches whole house and even at 2/4 bars at distances from router, speeds are 60 MBPS (where speed drop to 30 MBPS through the extenders, so we have stopped using them).

I guess its doing what its supposed to do. After I finally got it connected and Comcast removed, had to update everything that was connected to the old network. Had to contact Comcast and Netgear. Had to drink a few drinks cause my internet was out for a little while..but its working.

I was iffy about buying the product but when I asked compatibility and differences this one stood out best

Very good and supported the high end plan from xfinity. Easy to install as well.

I am really happy with this version of Netgear modem router I purchased to return rented modem from xfinity. This is a good router modem for medium to large house with multiple stories. With voice support I can also use voice service from xfinity. The Genie iOS app is really cool. With graphical view of devices connected to the router, you can easily control devices and create access control list. I am really happy with this modem. It is worth spending more that much money.

This router is super fast and amazing. It has everything u need.

Great router that is compatible with my internet/phone provider! Now I won’t be incurring a monthly bill with them!
