    We needed a cable router to cover full time upstairs and main floor offices with ‘normal’ home network items. Set up was easy. It took about 4 hours to connect 15-20 devices. I’ve added another printer and thermostat without issue. I also appreciate the smaller footprint this has over my previous router.

    Excellent Gateway for those who need phone lines (two, one far digital phone and the other for fax). Some set-up difficulties, which seemed to be primarily Comcast not familiar/recognizing the modem. However, after a couple days, everything smoothed out and it works great!

    If you are having problems with Comcast/Xfinity and constant wifi drops/slower than expected throughput, this is your fix. A bit pricey but worth it for me at least. You will have to call Comcast to get them to recognize this as the modem/router but once I got it up and running I now have zero wifi drops and way less issues with overall throughput.

    My older modem/router was under-performing and I needed more bandwidth to stream movies from my ISP to my Roku. So, I went to Best Buy and found this Netgear Nighthawk, which was recommended by the sales rep. I purchased the unit and brought it home. After set-up, I have been very happy to be streaming without any interruptions or buffering.

    I've purchased numerous products from this company for years, both for personal and business use and never been disappointed. My only issue with this product was the WiFi speed, but that was before I learned of the Netgear USB WiFi 5.0G Adapter that sells for under $40. It is the perfect companion to this Modem Router!
