Great router, Specrum Voice not supported

This resolved my issue with my Spectrum router dropping out all the time but as some reviewers say that it supports Spectrum Voice Service it does not. Spectrum even admitted that it is wrong on their own website.

Looks decent and the best part I like about it is the lights are helpful and the fact you can load a battery backup within the case. I’ve always rented but got tired of the rental gateways breaking down. Figured in the time I spent chatting with ATT or Comcast and monthly fees they impose for the gateway.

Overall satisfaction - supersatisfied. I bought this unit to replace and cancel my xfinity equipment rental which is $11/mo. Although the netgear cost $279 but for me the investmeny is worth it. On top of it, it has a dual ban capabilities (2.4g and 5g) which ease the traffic of internet in our home.

This router seems to be working fine. I have triple play with Xfinity, and primarily bought it so that I could use the home phone feature. Set up was easy, calls are clear and download speeds are good. Best part is that I am saving about $120 on rental fees.

The NETGEAR NIGHTHAWK Dual Band Router Cable Modem Voice
unit is an all in one unit that is fairly compact and easy to install
piece of equipment that is extremely powerful providing a strong
WI-FI signal for home use and uses the latest DOCSIS 3.0 operating

This modem and router do what they are supposed to do. I'm not running anything complicated with it. Just a basic home set-up. It works fine, Definitely better than the one from the cable company with much better control over security features.

Purchased for parents after they got tired of paying the rental on their Comcast modem. Works just the same as the Comcast modem, minus the $15 fee every dang month. I tell everyone I can now; buy your own modem!!

Have had some connectivity issues with this device. Unsure if it is Comcast or the router. Comcast says it’s Netgear… Netgear says it’s Comcast. Just a heads up for those planning to use with Xfinity.

This was an easy decision. There was no way I wanted to continue paying nearly $15.00 per month to rent Comcast's equipment. Why?
This was easy to install, and saves me money. Comcast is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Netgear has great customer service if you need them...but that is unlikely.

This device provides our telephone, television, and internet service from Comcast/Xfinity. All are working well, and the wireless reaches distant rooms without a booster. Very satisfied. It was a bit tricky to set up, but only took an hour or so.

For a basic router the NETGEAR Nighthawk gets the job done well. I replaced my Motorola router with the Nighthawk and goodbye daily wireless failures.

Too early to tell at this time but I've lost internet 3 times since hooking this modem up. I'm not sure if it is Comcast or the modem. I believe it is Comcast and will have it checked if this continues.

Was a little tricky setting this router up with Comcast service. Had to call Netgear to get a code but it works well and the bandwidth is great since my garage is farther from the hose and I can still stream music on my phone. Would definitely purchase again.

We bought this router because my son who does online security found it also has a built-in VPN. I was glad because I wanted to keep my home phone, but knew we needed added protection for the land line. Glad we updated our old router, which was only a year old.
