Replaced a Comcast Arris cable modem with this model. Followed the instructions on the Comcast website to activate. No need to speak with anyone at Comcast. Activation took no more than 15 minutes and the product is working flawlessly.

After reading the reviews, I settled on the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router. Using the tips from the reviewers, I called Xfinity before exchanging this with my old one. It works just fine.

Works fine. No problems after several weeks. Have not had to reset it at all. It was set up by the xfinity service guy so can't say much about it except it works.

Worth every cent ! Before we purchased we had nothing but issues with company supplied routers. Bought this one and there’s been no concerns since.

It can do what it says. Design is minimal which is good not like those with three antennas. I had no problem with this one.

This was a really great purchase as I was able to combine my modem with my router. This item really brought my internet and Wi-Fi up-to-date. With that, I was able to save $10 a month by giving the cable company back their modem.

Was difficult to set up originally but called Netgear and young lady stayed on line until got on line. Stable on line,

The router works as expected and the WiFi is great. Only downside is having to deal with Comcast to get the router "registered" and running correctly (obviously this cannot be avoided).

Very good wireless cable gateway. Much better and FASTER (wireless and via LAN) than the other Netgear router I had with Motorola cable modem. Worth the price and recommended instead of the Arris brand.

I gave it 4 stars bc after spending hours in the phone with comcast they couldnt get to work with there service. I dont think it was the router itself like they said.

Got this to replace cable modem from Comcast to quit paying monthly fee. Does its job but the USB port requires too many hoops to hook up an external hard drive for back up.

Pulled up in the prking lot. Someone asked for an ID and name and in a couple minutes they came out with my order. Excellent service during these times...………...Thank You.

We bought this modem/router to replace the cable companies model. NETGEAR makes good stuff and we haven't had any issues with it at all. It will pay for it in no time!

Had to go to the Lancaster pa store to get it but was way better than renting it from my cable company every month. The Wi-Fi works great and goes far.. now I can sit outside and still get Wi-Fi..... what a deal...

Product works fine once installed. Installation instructions not in correct sequence. Calls for requesting Comcast to activate at end. It needs to be done earlier in the process.

Joy to the world. The wireless has come. Let me receive my internet. Seriously, best router I ever bought. I fully recommend.

Comcast installed high speed fiber optic line, told me I needed a DOCSIS 3.1 to get optimal speed. Returned Unit before installation.

This has almost paid for itself already. Dual band , 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ, with guest channels works great. No need for a battery if you use a UPS.

Provides good coverage for multiple systems. Doesn’t do as well in multi level homes.
