Nice having the. modem and router in one unit. Once I got it hooked up to the internet, it works great for our needs, Only complaint is difficulty in setting it up, not very user friendly. It took many phone calls (6) to Netgear before it was set up and working. Technical assistance people at Netgear were very hard to understand, and they didn't seem to be customer focused.

Needed to add a land line for home office. Rather then paying Comcast every month for modem/router this was a good alternative. One call to Comcast to give them the numbers and it was set up in minutes

Easy to setup and to change the network name and password. Works well with Comcast. One issue but just needed to reboot my pc to save network changes to name and password otherwise was a breeze.

Very easy to set up, however, follow directions you must contact Netgear first then connect with xfinity. Works very well enjoy savings $10.00 a month buying instead of "renting" from Xfinity

Good product, Easy to use, love it! And strong wifi!

I bought this to replace my comcast modem, who was charging me $13 a month. This device did it all and it did it very well. It has voice, wifi nad it a great device. Set was so easy, even a dummy like me could do it. The only drawback to this device is netgear only offers support for 90 days. After that they want you to pay. In my case I can't log into my modem, so I had to pay for support.

This router rocks. Speed, connection, reliability, strength of signal. Can't go wrong!

This was probably the best purchase we made for our household within our first few months moving there. We went through three of the standard issue xfinity modem’s within the span of a couple of weeks because they ALL had the same problem. The internet would cut out constantly when using a wired connection (???) but worked perfectly for wifi. After trying with them, we concluded their modem was the issue and decided to take the plunge and buy this one. It was kind of on the pricey end but not bank breaking (depending on your budget), but it worked amazingly after we got it set up. Setup is easy enough if you read the directions provided. Wired connection never dipped or cut out and the wifi was perfect as usual. As someone who both works from home and games, this purchase was certainly worth it. It’s been two years since we got it and (so far) it still works great.

work great with a stronger wifi signal than the router/modems I had been renting from xfinity for the past 20 years. yea to no more rentals payments. A snap to self install.

Unit is easy to set-up, the range is excellent and overall performance is great!

I've been renting one for years and finally decided to just buy one....all good so far and seems quicker. Did take some time to register with xfinity.

I got this device to work with No-IP.com dynamic DNS. Completely compatible. Great menus for port forwarding and the like.

There hasn't been any problems since connecting the device. It's actually working better than the one that was being leased from Xfinity. I would at this point recommend it if you're going to need one longer than a couple of years. It will eventually pay for itself. Literally!

I BOUGHT THIS UNIT TO REPLACE THE ONE THAT COMCAST GAVE ME TO USE . IT IS 10 TIMES BETTER AND MORE RELIABLE ON TOP OF SAVING ME MONEY EVERY MONTH ON THAT RENTAL FEE

The router was purchased to use with Comcast for TV, Internet, and telephone (VOIP). It is working well with no problems. Hopefully, it will continue to do so.

I chose this cable modem because of it's speed, range and voice capabilities, not to mention I'm beginning a smart home. So far so good. My ring doorbell really appreciates it. I'm in a tri level home with my cable modem router in the lower level family room. No more dead spots. Covers all 2300 sqf. including my Wi-Fi enabled garage door opener in my 2.5 car attached garage.
