I don't know if I got a lemon or not, but right from the start it kept dropping the wifi portion. Refused to reset. too, I had to unplug it and start from scratch. I've fought it for 10 days now and later this week I'm going to box it up and return it. Hopefully, the one I bought just suffered "Infant Mortality"

Not very good recommendation

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This item was recommended when I told a sales person I would be paying for the highest speed at Xfinity, now I’m being told by Xfinity this item can only give 300 of the 1200 speed I’m paying for and that is why I’m having internet and security system problems. For this cost the upgrade version is recommended CM2050vDOCSIS 3.1 (worth the try according to Xfinity)

This is the worst modem router I’ve EVER bought!

And of course I was away on vacation for over 30 days therefore it’s nonreturnable anymore! Who would’ve thought! I’ve spent in the last eight months I see, for over $10,000 worth of merchandise at Best Buy and I will never never by there again. The only reason I bought this router was to have my phone line working with my fax machine. And I would’ve left no stars whatsoever but of course you have to at least leave one star! I wish I did not go away sometimes but my trip was well worth it Therefore I’m going to take the loss and they just gonna lose a very very good customer. Please please please I am begging you do not buy this modem router with voice! I just connected my old modem router and of course like a charm!

Beats Comcast’s Motorola but not by much.

Modem had to be immediately replaced by Geek squa

Expected better...

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I downgraded from my netgear Nighthawk X4S Dual-Band AC3200 because the 5G Band started constantly dropping. unfortunately, there wasn't anymore in stock so, I figured a slight downgrade to the previous model shouldn't hurt much right?!?!.... WRONG!!! Wife and kids constantly on zoom meetings and this(despite my mesh wifi extender) is NOT holding up well all. Unfortunately again...back in the market for something more stable.

fine - but 960 mbps?

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this thinking it would accommodate my recent Xfinity upgrade. turns out not quite. the upgrade gives me 1000 mbps and this router maxes out at 960. also, Xfinity now lists DOCSIS 3.0 as "incompatible" with my service, as they're on DOCSIS 3.1 now. So this model is a little behind the times already. my bad for not taking a deeper dive on my research, but this may be helpful to someone else?

Router is getting hung frequently
