Ditching the cable modem fee and extending my modem was necessary this was very simple for me to do. Comcast was great at getting me hooked up.

Fast, reliable and worth the investment. Although a bit more than the “average” the reliability makes up for it. Great for “Tech” families.

we have comcast triple play and this router/modem with the voice over phone is so easy to set up. one phone call to xfinity and it was done. works great only downside is it will take roughly 20mo to recoup the investment. the phone is what almost doubled the price from the one without that feature.

I am happy with the device. It does what is promised it does. At fist I had issue with wifi connection dropping and when I reported it to Netgear, they responded promptly and solved the problem. Apparently the issue was with channels in the Netgear setting and updating firmware. I want to specifically thank Amisha Gurbani for the assistance. This device is powerful and I use it for wifi to 12 different devices and phone service.

This is an excellent modem/router for Xfinity's cable/TV/telephone services. Easy to install and set-up for the home network. This on replaced a like modem/router after six years... was acting intermittent and slower. My wi-fi cable / internet speed is back and all is well.

So far so good. Very fast and easy to setup. I am coming from ATT to Xfinity and Xfinity is much, much faster. So long ATT!!!

Cut the cable cord and needed to be able to connect the family. Store employee helped me out and this product fit the bill.

This router is the total package. Connects all my devices - home phone, WIFI, Roqu, desk top computer. Great performance.

Perfect service, durable and super reliable. We have never had any issues, and this is in a house with two teenagers that use it for gaming, and two adults that use it for work. Blazing fast speed and we know it will never be the weak link in the chain.

I updated my Xfinity modem which was a good decision on my part. My WIFI is now working much better. Before the update, my WIFI continually had to be rebooted. Now, I haven’t rebooted once. I had the Geek Squad install it.

Was sick of paying the rental fee. Did some searching and found this to be a great choice. Does what i need it to do.

So easy to set up. it takes longer to contact Xfinity with the information Model No. Serial No. so Xfinity can send signal to correct Router Modem I truly believe this product works better then the one I was renting from Comcast Xfinity. I needed no help it is that easy to connect.

Wanted to eliminate the cable modem charge from Comcast and replace an older router. This purchase accomplished both.

Owning your own cable modem cut significant cost off the xfinity bill each year

Reasonable setup time- easy on my end but required 2 different levels from Xfinity to setup separate internet and phone connections. After a few restarts and some firmware updates, the system is running fine. You have the option to rename the router and passwords from factory settings. I also have added the parental blocking- which won some brownie points from the Kids- not.

Wonderful, worth the price. Can handle four iPhone devices, plus three TVs streaming all at once, with high-speed. In addition, notice no difference in speed whether in the garage on the first floor, the second floor or third floor. Do Recommend.

Love this item. Saves me $14 a month with Comcast. Much faster than the rented one and the range is also much better. Note: I added the extra warranty onto ours. I figure if it does go bad, then I'll either get a new one or a refund.

Easy to install. Replaces the xfinity product that has a monthly charge. Easy to install using the app.
