It was easy to connect and activate the router and modem from comcast. The whole process took about 15 fifteen minutes including the call to comcast. The router and modem work well and would be great for a small home if you do not need high speed. I landed up returning this and replacing it with the docs 3.1 voice modem and ac 4000 nighthawk router and tripling my wifi speed in the process.

Recommended by Best Buy salesman. Did not work immediately, as I connected it to a series of cable wall outlets that were not "activated," in other words, connected by a splitter to the cable coming from the outside tower. I did not realize that builders do not connect all the outlets, because it weakens the signal. Comcast support did not tell me that. Once I connected to a working outlet, it worked fine for TV, Internet and phone.

Need to call the technician for installation. Works fine after that.

So far so good, no complaints, just know, that once the limit support from netgear runs out, you will have to troubleshoot any mobem issues on your own, if you purchase your own modem. And, you have the option of purchasing Support through netgear once the netgear included limited support runs out. For add protection, I suggest getting the geek squad protection plan to maximize your investment and savings.

Reliable router. Used for wifi, cable , voice and tv. Easy to install and setup. Meets all my needs

I purchased this since I prefer to own my own equipment. This unit was a very simple, plug it in, call Comcast to provide the info they required to Provision this unit on their network. Opened up a browser and waited for the Cable Status to show Online. Then it was just start using it as before. No issues except that the Backup Battery from NETGEAR is not available in the stores. Ordering online is showing 1-2 mos. wait. This should be an easier option to obtain.

I replaced the DVR box and Comcast router/modem and went with this as it was designated for xfinity. Speed is good and was able to keep the home phone # and drop the equipment fees from my bill. Using Ruku and xfinity app to tv and it has Recording option though it doesn’t hold as much in recordings. But this router/modem works well with xfinity.

This device was simple to install, amazing signal strength in 3 floors, and 200 mbps WiFi speed.

My router gives me better speed and reliability they my Wi-do. Overall it’s the best yet to come!!!

This wa she wisest purchase I have made with the modem and router all in one. I was able to get rid of my cable service's modem saving me money. This router/modem works just as well as theirs.

I have had this for over a year, and I highly recommend this unit. It performs very well with Comcast Triple Play, the phone voice is clear and I have no regret with this purchase. My printer, and other wireless products also performs very well.
