Bought this to extend the wifi signal in our house. The signal strength was very weak upstairs. This made a huge difference!! We cut cable several years ago so now streaming upstairs in the bedrooms is a breeze, no more buffering. Great product!

Great product so far. Setup was pretty easy if you can change router settings. Works better than I expected.

I bought this extender with hopes of getting so bleed over signal into my back yard. It was strong enough although the strength inside is great so if you need to really take care of those dead spots, you can't go wrong with this! One thing, the app is .. ehhh. All the pertinent info is there but I found it tough to log in sometimes and the speed test was not that good but, you're not really getting this for the app, right? : )

Before I got this i was using a simple extender that created a second access point. The speeds were always slow using that. Once i set this up, the speeds are consistent all throughout my house. Setup was super simple as well.

I purchased this Netgear router in hopes to extend my wireless coverage to my back office which is about 100 feet away (give or take). The repeater worked as described but for some reason I couldn’t hit full bars. I had other wireless repeaters before and had no problems but this one I just couldn’t get it working properly. I tried adjusting the power levels and frequency still no change. Overall still give it a 4 star rating due to the simplicity of setup, and use.

It’s a solid extender. Only thing is, for the price you pay for it, it should be better. Easy setup with other NETGEAR products (router) but discounts a lot. Also it sometimes disappears in the NETGEAR app. Overall, it was more good than bad but ended up returning this yr bc those problems mentioned above happened too often.

This extender/hub has worked amazing. I have a Netgear Tri-band router but added an outside wireless security camera to my home and was having some issues with the signal dropping out. This was mainly due to the router and camera being on completely opposite sides of our house. Instead of moving the router and losing coverage on the back porch and back yard, I added this. Pretty simple to hook up and works flawlessly so far. Great range and allowed us to hook up game consoles in the game room to hardwired ethernet connections because of the hub functionality. Very pleased with this product and how well it has worked. The best part is, it uses all the same networks as the original router and will seamlessly switch to whichever access point you're closest too. No switching networks depending where you are at in the house.

We bought this to put upstairs so the kids have trouble-free streaming for their online schooling during Covid. It does the job perfectly. Everyone's wifi is spot on and trouble free streaming.

I like using the NETGEAR - Nighthawk Mesh X6S Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender, Seamless Roaming, One WiFi Name, Works with any WiFi Router (EX8000) - Black in average size houses that need a little extra coverage from their provider's router. The setup is relatively easy and it re-broadacsts out the current SSID so you don't have to have more than one SSID to deal with in the same dwelling.

Solved my deadspot problem instantly. Super Easy to Set up. I am using it with my Netgear Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Model: R7500 Dual Band WiFi Router. I now have WiFi coverage throughout my 3000 sq. ft. house. I would highly recommend

I had tried various range and mesh extenders with no luck. With this one I can get a signal in the basement with the router on the second floor. Easy to install and set up. Highly recommended.

If you own another Nighthawk product, this is a must if you want to extend your wifi range. It DOES NOT slow down internet at all. The speed is just as fast as standing next to the main router itself. Set up was a breeze.

Using it as a Range Extender for my NetGear R9000 Nighthawk and it works well for both 2.4Gh and 5 Gh bands.

I purchased this and over time, I noticed my WiFi would lock up. I had to change my router password and reconfigure this box and the whole thing went belly up. Fortunately, it was still under warranty so I contacted Netgear for a replacement. It was the usual PITA to get them to admit it was broken, but they sent a new one and it works great. Now I know the original was bad from the start as it was a bugger to configure. The replacement was a breeze. Our router is in a far corner of the house (can't be moved) so I purchased this device to cover our 2,900 sq ft home. Reaches upstairs and the basement as well.

Got this to extend my network to the basement. Put this in between my router and office downstairs. It certainly helped, but not quite as good as the internet from my NETGEAR router, even with a strong signal. It did boost my signal to the video doorbell which helped that gadget. With the NETGEAR app, you can manage devices and see signal strength. Not the best app out there, but it's serviceable.

Nighthawk Mesh X6S Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender not only connects my whole house, both 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz, but I can walk down my driveway (downhill) to the mailbox and not lose connection. It is easy to setup.

My router is good but it was having trouble reaching the second floor from the basement. This mesh extender does a great job of seemlessly extending the Wi-Fi throughout the house. Set up was very simple

Great extender. This is much nicer than the ones that you have to sign into each new network in different areas of the house. Easy setup and great coverage for our 1900 square foot, three story house.
