Was easy to connect. Worked great out of the box. Much faster than my older one.

My former cable modem/router failed. After consulting with Best Buy, I decided to purchase a separate cable modem and router. The ease of connection was greatly appreciated. The huge benefit is I immediately received a significant increase in my internet speed. I am sold on NETGEAR products and the value received for the money spent. The other intangible is Best Buy consulting. Overall, a great purchase experience.

Xfinity finally decided to upgrade the network in our area so we could get faster speeds. The main issue was mostly the upload speed. After the upgrade, I needed a new modem to take advantage of it. I had a CM1000 before and it's been great, so I got this CM3000 to replace it. Upload speed has significantly improved, to the extend Xfinity offers in the plan anyway. Also allows me to prep for other network upgrades to make my stuff multi-gig ready!

So much faster right out the gate. The older model does not support the demand of these extreme speeds. This newer version does the job

I recently upgraded by modem from the Netgear CM1000 to this new model. The setup was very easy (easier than my last unit) and I immediately saw a substantial increase in the download speed from a max of 20 to 200mps and a upload speed of 1ghb! The only downside was the price point. I was previous getting 500mps on the CM1000 at a price point of $150 in 2016. Now to jump to $300 USD seems a bit pricey. I do recommend this product to people like me who need speed at the home for work but defer to others to use a combo unit at $249 or a lower model for a reduced price.

I upgraded to the Cm 3000 from the spectrum supplied cable modem and glad I did. I also did upgrade my isp to 1 gig. Matched with the new netgear router my tv views are a lot more vivid and there is no lag in web browsing. These products are a little pricey but they are sure wort it to me and family

This modem is exactly what I needed… I’m paying for 2000/300 download/upload and am getting all of it. I have been Xfinity customer for long time and didn’t want to switch to other services… I am very happy with this modem.

Easy to set up, works well, app is intuitive, overall a great purchase.

Works extremely well with Spectrum 1000 mbit plan. I have had 0 issues in the first month of using it. Would highly recommend if you need the speed. Make sure you get the CM3000 and not the CM2000. If you have all 2.5 gbit connections between modem, router, and computer you can get 1.2 gbit from the 1 gbit plan from over provisioning.

So far had for 24 hours this is a awesome modem so far i have had no drop in signal no lag everytime i wanted internet it i had it game reduced to no lag the cm3000 is fantastic this is one of the best modems i have had so impressed all i can say is netgear has really fixed the issue from the past madel and this is great hats off love it no more resetting modem so impressed

I have Xfinity for my high-speed Internet. Xfinity did an upgrade in my neighborhood, so I needed to upgrade my modem to this model. I am getting much faster download and upload speeds.

Excellent modem. No loss of signal or cutting out. Fast, easy to connect.

Great modem with fast speeds and easy setup and connections

I recently upgraded my Xfinity plan to 2Gbps. My existing modem, despite advertising with handling 2000Mbps speed, couldn't handle my new internet plan. I purchased this modem, as Xfinity stated this was on their "Next-Gen Speed Tier" list. I plugged it in, followed the Xfinity app's instructions, and viola! Am getting 2.3Gbps consistently!! A bit pricey though...

This Nighthawk modem is a beast! So glad I upgraded to this modem and dumped the Xfinity Gateway modem that couldn’t even handle the WiFi strength that I was paying for! I’m getting my full 1 gig WiFi speeds, and it has been amazing! WiFi connections are faster, no more buffering, overall performance has been fantastic! I combined this modem with the Orbi router mesh system, and I get solid WiFi throughout my entire home. The performance of my equipment connected to the WiFi has improved dramatically. I would definitely recommend this modem!!

Stop paying the cable company a monthly 'tax' to rent their hardware. This Nighthawk setup was a breeze to activate through Sparklight's tech support. It runs much cooler than my old modem and the connection stability is night and day. It’s definitely an investment, but with the future-proof DOCSIS 3.1 tech and high-split support, I won't need to replace this for years.

Consistently performs throughout the days and nights, with all different types of workloads. The diagnostics are easy to read and make it simple to convey any discrepancies between what the SP claims and what you are actually receiving!

Great option for those that have multi-gig service plans. If you are not receiving multi-gig speeds at your service access point this modem might be overkill. Works with Xfinity cable and was easy to switch over from a different modem. You need to make sure you have a router that can handle the speeds that you're serving as well or the speed of modem won't matter if you cannot route the increased bandwidth of wifi to your devices. This modem DOES NOT include a wireless router built in like some other options do. Netgear offers some all in one options as well. Bonus points: NetGear does not seem to be affiliated with the Chinese government like TP-LINK. :○)

For the most part, I’m noticing a slight improvement in connecting to Xfinity with 90% download/upload capacity. Overall, I believe this Netgear model is of high quality and performance. Xfinity Internet is the usual culprit behind all my connection and speed issues.

It's a great product and it increased my wifi connectivity.
