Fast for Xfinity

I hooked up this netgear cm2050v modem along with my netgear rs700 router and its a great system now. I have the 1gig internet service with home voice and my download speeds are a consent 1180 mbps down and 82mbps up no matter what time of day it is. The modem has the latest firmware upgrade installed in it.

My NETGEAR - Nighthawk Cable Modem Upgrade

I was losing my PS5 remote portal connectivity to my PS5 Pro upstairs and this fixed it. My PS5 portal hasn't dropped once. I'm running 4 flatscreen TVs, 2 PS5s, 2 IPads, and 2 IPhones all on this one router's WIFI. So glad I updated!!

The setup was straightforward. Instant improvement in speed and latency. Perfect for cloud gaming. I choose this because netgear is renowned for making quality products.

The One and Only
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you use Xfinity you can buy your own modem or use theirs. While using theirs I noticed that Xfinity made my home a hot spot for their subscribers. They effectively resell your wifi. You can opt out in the app but mine kept turniing it on. So unless you want to give strangers access to your wifi and let Comcast resell your bandwidth you have to own your own equipment. This is the most reliable way to go.

Netgear CM200 Modem for 2.5 GB Service

Setup was easy, simply connected the cables, powered up and BOOM! I choose to purchase my own modem for security and to eliminate the ISP's modem rental fees. Zero issues so far!
