I thought my router being 5 years old was slowing down my internet but I bought this as well as a new router and I installed this first and my speeds came back and haven't dropped since.

Good for modem

And so far, there are no drops or laggy connections. It's been hooked up 2 weeks, so I will give it more time to really give it a run for the 300 dollar price tag.

Easy setup and exceptional diagnostics

Additionally, this modem diagnosed my cable connection and identified that upstream my cable connection was poor. I contacted my cable company and they came out fixed the issue. Now I’m using the full potential of the internet I’m paying for!

Worth it

Did a little research and the upstream capabilities of this puppy hit the spot. Ultra wide band router with this is pretty seamless. Have not tried gaming but at least this gives me a chance.

NETGEAR makes awesome Modems!

We decided recently to cut the cable and we wanted a modem that would be upwards compatible with Comcast. This Nighthawk cable modem is amazing and easy to setup on comcast/xfinity
