Me and my family had used it for one month with zero issues. My kids use it for gaming and on line school, and they love it.

An amazing router. The only reason it is not receiving 5 stars is because I have not figured it all the way out yet. I am having a few issue when a attach my harddrive to it. I will show the harddrive on all devices but I am unable to modify the harddrive from my computer while it is this hooked up to the router. My previous Netgear router allowed this, so just trying to play around with it to figure it up.

Has a great WiFi range. Upload and download speeds always stay consistent. Had no problems. We have multiple devices connected to it and still no issues.

Very easy set up, excellent signal for wifi and cool-looking even. I especially like the OS for the router which is fully upgradeable for the future.

I have been using this router for a while now and feel confident to post a review based on my experience. The new OS - Duma - is very powerful and yet simple to use. Love the interactive QoS settings and the overall user interface is a game changer when you want to get the most out of this device. Overall WiFi coverage has improved significantly against my ATT provided router. I don't think i will need an expensive mesh system now :) Happy with the purchase and certainly recommend it.

I use this combined with the netgear cm1000 modem on the 1000mbps plan and i get insane speeds definitely worth the purchase.

Definitely a need if you have multiple gaming happening in your house. I can have two lap tops gaming and be on Xbox or ps with no problem.

This runs smoothly. It was easy to set up and all our devices connected easily. Would definitely recommend.

Spent so much on different routers to support my gaming habits and this checks all the boxes! Don’t hesitate to buy!

My experience with this product was excellent for the first 2 months and quickly became horrible. The device has constant intermittent connection issues. No firmware updates, resets to factory defaults, or configuration changes have helped as the device obviously has a hardware flaw. When I contacted Netgear for support, they informed me the ONLY way I could receive help was to PAY for support! They wouldn't even allow me to invoke the warranty without paying for support. Mean less to say, stay FAR AWAY from this product as reading reviews shows this particular model has major hardware issues.

I love it it’s fast and I can control who is on it. When my son wanna sneak and play his game I just shut him down

the nighthawk is a great gaming router, not only am i safe with the built in vpn setup, but also fast and reliable speeds as well.

Definitely an improvement over my Netgear AC1700 router that wasn't able to handle multiple data links simultaneously.

Works great. Has great range on the wireless. Fairly easy to use. All and All im happy with my purchase.

I was having connection issues with my Spectrum Hardware. I was constantly loosing connections, and my speeds were well below what I was paying for. I researched wireless routers, and this one seemed to be on everyone's list. Setup was easy, and I have had no connection issues with this since purchase. It has nice software that allows you to see what devices are online, and allows you to make changes with the click of a mouse. I have a PS4 Pro, Switch, and XBOX One X and all systems connect flawlessly. You will not be disappointed!!

I would only recommend this device to someone with a house full of devices on wireless. Only bc you can extremely limit users down to 1meg of bandwidth. Also good for kids when it’s bed time you can go in and shut them down lol Didn’t really suit my needs though sadly I had to return it. If you are trying to get the most out of a game console you have to limit everything else not just prioritize like you can on other routers. Works great just not what I needed.

You know why you’re buying this, it’s the same reason why I bought it. It gets the job done, takes a little getting used to applying the geofilters etc... Easy set up, fast router, decent coverage if you have a large home, gets those bot lobbies you want. I just wish it worked with the duma OS software instead of having to access the duma os through web browser.

For years I was strictly DLink ONLY when it came to routers (wireless or otherwise) and circumstances required me to purchase a new wireless router a couple months ago. I was hesitant on Netgear because of past experience but I went with my gut and gave it a try. I have never been more surprised or more PLEASED with a purchase I was on the fence about. The new user interface couldn't be easier to navigate and easy for configuration. Netgear has done their homework and gave me a new outlook on their products.

It’s beastly, probably a lot better than what a standard household needs but it’s great and fixed some problems.

Works great with the CM1000! Awesome for gaming all of the features really give you an advantage specially if you have really good Speeds
