Also seemed to disagree with pretty much all smart home products even with the 2.4GHz properly configured.

Not as great as advertised

I had to take the first one I bought back for an exchanged and it still did not fix all the issues. Randomly drops smarthome devices. It does not affect only a specific brand so it must be the Wifi. Rebooting it requires rebooting the modem too. Every other Wifi Router I have used can just be restarted. So if I want to restart the modem someone at home has to unplug the modem first making the app useless in many cases. Just feel like this should be a much better unit for the price point. Maybe it is because the OS is not Netgear but rather DUMAOS. Just seems like it has advanced features but missed the basic ones like solid connectivity.
