I just wanna say that this router is way better than the XR500, Menu and going to options is faster with the Quad Core Processing Power, I've noticed a connection difference with this router as compared to other routers I have used in the past, one thing I like is the VPN Hybrid Feature with the latest DumaOS, Now just waiting for them to Update the VPN Hybrid Feature to have more options like PPTP etc. instead of only one option which is TCP and UDP. I will say this much, if you come from using the ASUS ROG Rapture router, this one Smokes that one by a long shot.

As a Netgear Beta tester I have tested a lot of products that are the same as others out there. Not the Nighthawk Pro Gaming AD7200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router. The Nighthawk stands out above all other gaming routers. From the start of testing this product it shows that Netgear has stepped up they're game and sets the nighthawk above all others. Starting with the DUMAOS, unlike most routers that use flash system this is a complete OS that is running the router. It has amazing settings and speed that will not disappoint being if your hard wired or on Wifi. I replaced my old linksys gaming router and never looked back. For the media buffs you will enjoy the Plex Media Server integration, it is easy to setup and can map to network drives with ease. Also if you use a VPN services like NorVPN or another service you will enjoy the Hybrid VPN. The VPN service works great and is great to have integrated into a system with having to use a flash program like DD-WRT, Asuswrt-Merlin or Tomato. This router is crap and expensive! First, slow UI. Next, cannot detect my Netgear switch. Spf port does not work ( bought the adapter). Just get a different router.
