This is a great router, but NOT for me. I got this to go with my “Gig Internet” service from Spectrum which is really 940Mbps. Nowhere in the product description does it mention that it prioritizes mobile devices. My phone has never been faster, but my PC has never been slower. I was getting 500mbps up and 40mbps down on the standard Spectrum Router. But on the Nighthawk AC1900 I’m lucky if I hit 300 up and 5 down. This is great for smaller devices. Apple TV, Fire Stick, Mobile Phones, Tablets etc. But my computers aren’t being prioritized and there’s no way to change that setting in the app.

Bought this router to replace a similar model Netgear wifi router I bought at Christmas 2014 for my parents that died w/o warning. So far this router has performed well. Not a big fan of their setup app as I prefer to tweak some settings from typical defaults. The router seems to have a little better range than the last model - but if it fails like the last model, it will be the last Netgear I buy!

Adds extra protection from malware. Able to allow easy and protected Wi-Fi access. The router was easy to setup and maintain. Has excellent range and signal

Works as intended. It doesn't slow down when my family has all of our mobile devices hooked to it. Lag is a thing of the past.

Bought this for our house to replace old unit. It has great speed and is easy to setup. I enjoy the included app that allows you to track who is using your network and check the performance of the network.

Best router I have every used, easy to configure and gives a very good download speed through out my house.

Pretty simple to set up and after that you forget about it. It just works with no issues. Is fast enough for what I need and covers my house better than my previous router. It works fine from my basement to my second floor with little degradation due to distance or house material.

This is an excellent router that is very easy to setup and deploy. It has enough range to cover a 10K sqr ft warehouse. The item was in stock at my local store. This device does not replace a cable modem.

We replaced an older router, it stopped working We have a number of Netgear products modem and router This router covers more area than the old one that failed and speed is better also

It hits that sweet spot of performance and pricing that should take care of the vast majority of home users. It handle streaming to all six of my home devices without a hiccup

This is a great router for home usage. It has a great wifi signal range. The speed is great for multiple devices too.

This is an amazing router at a great price. We were able to run 3 PS4 consoles during the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. without any lag or performance issues. All of our devices ran off of Wi-Fi, and it was much better than the router that was supplied by our ISP.

I needed a router that could reach all three floors without a repeater . I had tried several Cisco routers and they would not go far enough . The router was pricey but it has been worth the money .
