This router has been great. I am the type of person that will buy the cheaper one. A friend talked me into spending the extra $$$ and I don't regret it a bit. I've had it for only 2 months now. It is super fast and I haven't had any hiccups with it.

Was easy to set up. Worked right away. Bought a second one for mother-in-law's house.

Upgraded my router as it had been a few years and this one was on sale for $130. This router is plenty easy to setup and has many great features. The app works great for seeing what devices are connected, total data used, and testing internet speeds. Using the website there are also some great hidden features. My favorite of those is the ability to go into the advanced settings and turning off all the annoying flashing LEDs. You can also setup the VPN there. (I still need to test this). I also recommend using the app to consolidate both bands into one WIFI and let the router decide which devices should use which band that way things are less confusing and it helps decongest your network a bit.

Made my internet way faster. Also looks pretty sweet - like something out of Star Wars.

Bought this as a replacement router because it seems like I need a new one every so often. This works great and is quick and very easy to set up. Works well with many devices connected to it. And it gets the open nat for those who know what that is.

This router was easy to set up and took less than 10 minutes. An app is required for set up. Have had no issues using while working from home and kids having virtual school. Would recommend.

Great router. The set up was super simple and the netgear genie software is awesome.

I had read quite a bit about this router, and of course compared it to other models from several companies. This router is worth the price, and exceeded our expectations. Tremendous range (for our complex we still get signal from our pool 100ft away).

This wireless router has good range and ok speed, I felt like for the price It got the job done well. I used it all over the place in a pro setting. So far no problems.

I recently moved into a new house (1600 sq ft up, 1600 down) where it made the most sense to place the router downstairs and my TP-Link N600 just couldn't cut it. Before replacing the router I thought the problem was my service provider, but after several checks, they assured me the speed was fine. After placing the Nighthawk, I haven't had a single issue or even had to reboot the router. With the TP-Link, on a good day, (my service is 150 down, 10 up) I'd pull 30 down on both 2.4 & 5ghz bands. With the Nighthawk I'm pushing 75 on 2.4 & 90-100 on the 5ghz band at all times. This router solved a major frustration for me - I spent time every few nights fiddling with the TP-Link settings to find a channel that would run better but it was just a weak router with weak signal. I'd highly recommend this router for a house my size.

Dont buy any other brand. Netgear nighthawk destroys them all. Best router out there

Very satisfied with this item. I have read another review before I purchased this stating the antennas are flimsy, be careful. They really are lol. I haven’t broken it or anything and once it’s set you’re prob leaving the antennas in place but just taking it out the package be careful. My old one stood upright as well as horizontally, this one is only horizontal. Not too much of a biggy but upright it took up much less space on my desk. Overall like I said I’m very satisfied with this purchase, works as it should...although i just got to installing it , it’s been about 2 weeks now.

This is a solid home router with plenty of features for the average user. I like the ability to use OpenVPN to access my internal Network while away. I have a 3400 sq ft house and get decent signal from my basement where the router is to the farthest corner upstairs. A lot depends on router placement and antenna positioning. Overall very happy with this purchase.
