Lasted 2.5 years. Was very fast until recently. 10mbs max on 5ghz. UI and firmware update system isn't great. Plug and play out the box though. QoS was decent until a firmware update made it useless. I like the app a lot but a firmware update messed that up too. Maybe the firmware is the issue? Tried reverting back but the damage is done. Is expecting this to last longer than 2.5 years wrong? Purchased an ASUS router. UI is superior. Netgear should use them as an example. Especially on something caring the Nighthawk name.

Bought this product to replace my old N router. it was easy to set up and can get updates by using my phone. It has allowed me to stream faster and use more devises on my wifi. i would recommend to a friend. Nice that it has two bands as well.

The Nighthawk AC1900 is the easiest router I have ever set up. Using the app makes the entire process simple and quick. The router itself performs as it should and I have no complaints. I highly recommend this product.

Good signal strength but little expensive though. Works ok if coverage needed for one floor.

The range on this router has been great. I have no problem covering my entire house with strong signal. Far better than other routers I have used in the past. The firmware, however, leaves much to be desired. I had constant issues with wifi clients dropping off of the 2.4 GHz network for no reason, especially my wireless printer. I looked up the issue, and found that I was far from the only person having these problems with this model and the latest firmware. Instead of taking it back, I downloaded the open source AdvancedTomato firmware and installed it on this router. It's been working great ever since, and AdvancedTomato comes with way more features than the stock Netgear software has.

This is really a great router gives you lots of speed and bandwidth, my old router had to be constantly reset this router has run flawlessly for a month. Streams to my smart tv as well as a wired connection.

This router is easy to setup and manage. It covers all of a 3000 sf one story house with only a few slow spots. Very easy to set up reservations for IP addresses and other more advanced functions. While not at a great price point, it is fair.
