I had to upgrade my router so that I could get a router customization that allowed me to regulate Buffer Bloat, for online multiplayer games on Xbox Live. Before I purchased this, on DLSR reports, my connection rating was a D- because of the horrific buffer bloat that was bogging down multiplayer gameplay. After tinkering with the Admin customization on my browser (admittedly, this took quite a while cause I know next to nothing about networking), I managed to set everything the way I wanted too, and no longer have frequent issues when gaming online. And following up with DLSR reports website, my connection tested A across the board. The router is a bit large, not tall , but fairly wide, but I would definitely recommend it.

I replaced an older netgear with this. It is fast and has a good range but the past several months it loses the internet connection. I have to unplug it at least once a month and sometimes once a week. It is really inconvenient since it usually happens when I am at work and I start getting notifications that my security cameras are off line. Another irritant is the weekly emails trying to sell some security service. I just want a secure setup without having to pay for something that should be included with a device at this price point.

Like that it can handle older and newer devices with the 2.4 and the 5.0.

We got this to boost the signal to our kids because they kept losing internet and it works great! We have had no problems since buying it and it was really easy to set up too!

I was told this was overkill if I wasn't a gamer. I'm not, but I love this. It's fast, easy to set up, gave me the capability to back up all my devices to a single drive and acts as an air print printer even for non-wireless printer. Very happy with purchase.

New router definitely extended the family's coverage area in the house and allows us to stream cable with no buffering. Excellent purchase at a great price. Highly recommend if thinking of purchasing a new router.

This is a wonderful router that is very easy to set up and effectively moves the wi fi connection throughout a large home. My internet service is now working consistently well with all of my devices. This unit is a great investment.

Works well, but not as good as I expected for the price. I thought the 3-big antennae would boost the signal more than they do. The 5GHz band makes it to the front of the house, but the signal is about the same as on the old dual band router I bought for half the price. We haven't challenged it with a full load of streaming movies while kids are gaming, etc. so I can't comment on that aspect yet.

Product met all my needs. The review prior to purchase was on the money.

Have had this for two years now and have only had to reset it twice which isn’t too bad. Overall I forget I have it, which is exactly what you want with something like this!
