NETGEAR - Nighthawk Dual-Band Wireless-AC Router

This router is suppose to be able to handle more traffic with dual bands. The old router was working, however, when the gaming system, phones, and Netflix it slowed everything down. This router still lags when everything is running.

Great router for all electronics

We were using time Warner stuff but it couldn't maintain what we were doing so I decided to drop 160 dollars on this router and I have no regrets it's great and have not had any problems with everyone being online at all. Everyone should get it.......

The best router on the market

Great range for my whole house and large yard. I use a lot of devices with wifi and this thing works like a champ unlike many other routers.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router because my previous Netgear router that worked great in my previous home would only get me 1Mbps in the new home we moved to recently. This one works a bit better. Unfortunately the cable and phone line that my provider needs are only together in one room of the house and of course that is upstairs and on the opposite side of the house from where my home theater with my gaming systems is. I can get about 40Mbps upstairs in the house but only about 10mbps downstairs. So this router gets the job done but I guess I've got a difficult house to get good WiFi reception in. One downside to this router is that is has a lot of lights on it and they're pretty bright. I have it sitting on the floor of a spare bedroom and the router functions as a night light as it lights the room up pretty brightly at night.
