We are avid fans of Netflix, and it was getting pretty frustrating waiting for signals to refresh several times daily despite a robust internet download speed. I sought a solution at Best Buy, and the representative actually talked me into a unit that was far less expensive than the behemoth state-of-the-art router that I'd intended to buy. The AC-1900 is a MIRACLE. In our three story 2100 square foot home it gives solid signals to our smart TV, two i phones, and two Kindle devices, regardless of the location of the devices inside the home. If you have a modest sized home like ours, you don't need to spend a fortune on the latest and greatest from Netgear; the AC-1900 is more than adequate to deliver reliable service to multiple devices.

I replaced my old unit with this. I had everything set up and running in a matter of minutes. I have had no issues and usually have 3 computers running at my house in the evening. I would buy it again

the netgear Nighthawk was recommended to us by our internet provider, I wish it would have been recommended to us sooner! wifi connectivity is smoother and absolutely no problem with google doc which we had issues with in the past. we originally had the "cheapest router in the store" to get wifi - now we know it does matter which router to use.

This router was extremely easy to setup and use. I have a large house with concrete floors and brick walls. With this router I have great coverage through out my house. Finally have a router that really works.

Looked into several wifi routers and decided to try the netgear ac1900 to see if it would meet our needs. If not, I knew I could return to Best Buy easily. After 3 weeks, this has absolutely met our needs and expectations. We have cable internet 100mbs. We have 12-15 devices connecting to the wifi at any given time. Heavy uses include XBOX one, TV streaming services like Netflix and Amazon and multiple i-devices. We haved had zero issues. We have had xbox, YouTube, netflix all running at same time on different devices with no problems. Reaches to all corners of our approx 2200 sq ft home, basement, main floor, second floor. Wifi router is on main level. We had netgear AC1200 previously. Very happy with this so far.

I use to have a lot of problems with my internet dropping the signal and freezing up. After discussing with my internet provider, the best fix was to purchase my own router vs using the modem/router they provided. I choose the AC1900 from a recommendation from my computer savvy brother-in-law. I can't believe what a difference it has made.

I bought this to replace my Asus router that was, at the time I bought it, the "best". It worked for a year at most. This Netgear was easy to set up and , so far, works well. Fastest router I have ever used and the range is better than the Asus.

Great range within our older house which has several walls rather than so-called "open concept."
