Great product. Easy to set up, works well, and the apps that work with an iMac and and iPad are really helpful.

Great router. Really fast. Tons if features... Perhaps too many? Not really for beginners, but if you stick to the plug-and-play options, beginners will be fine. Only misses a star because there is a newer model.

I upgraded my Xfinity speed to 100 down and 10 up. But I wasn't getting wifi speeds even close to that. Ethernet wise, I was getting that speed. So I needed to upgrade to a router that had the Wifi capability as well as ability to send out both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. It works extremely well, and i can easily use my PS4 for remote play, devices connect consistently with good speed, and my video streams are always working now. If you want something to work and you have multiple laptops, smart phones, tablet, game devices, and video streamers, just flat out spend the extra dough and buy this - it's worth it.

EASY TO SET-UP; EASY TO USE AND LOVE THE GENIE APP

I bought this over a year ago and honestly I forgot all about it, it’s just such a nice router. I normally buy the cheap ones but with streaming nextflix, laptop gaming, schoolwork, kids laptop streaming, I needed something to support all of them at reasonable speeds and this surpasses all my expectations. The only issue is our internet provider. It tends to be slow at some times, and we have high speed with Charter, so if you want the most out of this, consider your options when looking at internet providers.

Purchase did what we expected and needed it to do.

Read a lot of reviews for this model and it was consistently rated high or number 1. It has lived up to the ratings. Also, if you have a lot of wireless devices and some with 5ghz capability, the overall home network performance will improve by putting different devices on 2.5 and 5 ghz bands.

Now I can use my iPad and computers all over the house even outside an shop area. The signal goes through walls without problems. I wish I would had had this unit a long time ago. Easy to set up.

When I shop wireless routers, I go with Netgear Nighthawk. It's the best IMO. Been doing IT for SoHo and this is a perfect match. Comes with managed security for a small price each year. Never had a problem out of the box. Solid piece of hardware. Great range, enough settings to even do advanced items needed on your network. Gigabit for you peeps than need wired. Plenty of goodness under the hood. Can't say enough and if you find it on a deal for a small office, well worth it.

I was nervous to buy this because I'm not a real techie but it was easy to get going and we have good coverage for our home. I still have to try to figure out the things it can do besides basic wireless internet.

My home is two stories and the internet provider I use did not have equipment to accommodate a two story home. While using their equipment I was continually losing the internet connection and I had to always sign back in about every 5 minutes. I got this router and since then, I have not lost internet connection one time. This is a great product and I would recommend to anyone needing a strong signal. Also, over time, it will save money since I no longer have the need to pay a monthly fee for equipment rental from my internet provider.

Overall the unit was easy to setup and very stable.

With the 5.0 ghz port my computers are now running much faster. Also allows some of my older printers to run on the 2.4 ghz at the same time. Seems very reliable so far.

This is the one to get if you need to push a wireless signal down. My parents have this on the second floor and use wireless on the first floor. It works flawlessly and was easy to install.

This router is a super buy. It is so easy to set up. I have a 3100 sq ft house and there is a strong signal though out my house. A great price with Best Buy price match.

Overall, a great router. Very fast, easy to set up. The first one we bought died after just three weeks, but Netgear tech support staff very helpful with troubleshooting, and the new router has been working great.
