I bought this for a large house that needed extended coverage. I had tried an extender with limited success. The new Nighthawk provided great signal throughout a 4000 sq. ft. house.

Very easy setup-only took me about 10 minutes. Works great and gives me a good signal both upstairs and downstairs.

Router meets all needs for a larger home. Was using the leased one from time warner and could not reach throughout the whole home. This router reaches to all places in the home and is easy to set up.

I love how fast and reliable this Netgear Nightwawk is. The tri-antenna definitely helps with the range. If you are worried about range, whether you are extending to a friend's dorm room a couple doors down, to a guest house, or if you are Hugh Hefner and need a wifi signal to reach your bunnies by the pool, then this router is for you. My only complaint is that the software and wireless management system is very outdated and clunky. You don't have to do more than configure your router and security, so you should have to deal with the software a great deal. This a marginal complaint compared to the performance of the router itself.

I've not had a single issue since I put the R7000 into service. Handles all three of my IP cameras, PS5, Marrantz receiver, TV, 2 tablets, 3 phones, laptop, and PC daily without breaking a sweat. Range is much better then my last TP-Link router. Lots of configuration options. Along with my Netgear modem, this has been a solid Netgear product.

Overall a great mid-tier router that’s reliable, full-featured and performs well. No problem setting it up using routerlogin- did not waste time with the setup app. If I had to criticize it, I would say that the form factor could do with improvement. It takes up too much shelf space. A more vertical form with narrower footprint would have been better for space and heat management/airflow. Great service and availability of product from Best Buy.

Only purchased to replace an Asus with broken antenna's. Very good router that's powerful enough to cover my entire house and even into the yard. The router is placed in the finished basement (walkout ranch) and provides coverage to main floor good enough to stream from any device. I had some issues w/ UPnP on my wired xbox, but have since used Netgear tech support to setup Port Forwarding. All in all, great router.

Set this up right out of the box! too easy. Using in a 3 story townhome on middle floor and we are getting blazing wireless speed everywhere. This is the latest and greatest router!

Set up was easy and fast.I ran a test on my old router then tested the speed on the AC1900 and the speed is super fast on this.

I am so impressed with this router. When I had my receipt checked at the door after buying it, the security officer told me "this is the best purchase you will ever make. This thing can support up to 7 gaming laptops at a time!" I thought he was exaggerating, but then found out otherwise when my laptop clocked twice the speed that it was getting before. There are three of us living together and each of us has probably 4-5 devices pushing data at a time and this router barely blinks at it. They all run blazing fast. If you're looking for an awesome router, look no further. This one is the BEST.

This router is fast and can handle 2 smart TV's, 4 cellphones, 2 laptops, and keeps on ticking! I love the app which made install a breeze!

Netgear nighthawk is a GREAT router in performance down to installation. You don't need to computer intact to install this router! The performance you get is worth every dime!
