Excellent stability and wifi speed after upgraded to The new R7000 with out of box version V1-0-9-88-10-2-88 makes it harder to flash third party firmware because it would reject the lower version. You need a special firmware that tricks it to update. The ddwrt stock to ddwrt firmware works. Then i need to flash tomato on it, because ddwrt does not like xwrt. Then i flash xwrt 380.70, then to the latest. A lot of work. But worth it.

Old Wi-Fi router died . Got this Netgear unit and as soon as I hooked it up ,the signal was much improved over the old unit .Easy to hook up !

It was easy to set up. I'm in a smaller place so I turned down the power to 50% and still get great signal.

Delivers good speed and you will hardly notice any lag. Wifi range is not bad either. I would recommend this if you are looking for a router less than 200$ with good specs.

We upgraded to a SmarTV. With the upgraded dual band, I can now split half of the devices on the 5G network which I use more often and split the rest on the regular band. At one time I have streamed video from my computers and phones all at once with no ill effects.

This particular router performed much better in my home and was easy to set up. I have plaster walls my coverage is better than my previous Linksys.

I had was using the att wifi modem and was not getting good wifi at all. So I bought this to boost my wifi, bypass the wifi on att modem. To go right into this netgear, and since then I've been getting the wifi I'm paying for. This wireless router is worth the money!

Having 3 smartphones, 3 tablets, 3 laptops, and a home server, as well as each of 3 tv's having an internet device, this is the fastest router I have ever come across. Being an IT professional, I usually do my homework when buying home products. I've been historically a Cisco guy, and was going to Best Buy to purchase a new Linksys router until the salesperson recommended this model instead. Im sooooo glad he did!

This router performs! It is never offline. Rarely do I ever reset the router. Speeds are quick and consistent. Excellent!

We got this router to hook up our Verizon WiFi conection, but Verizon said it might not work with their gigabit service. We winded up returning the product and we ultimately did not wind up with Verizon either. The product came with a compact manual; it was light in weight and unobtrusive. It was also a higher priced router than others we looked at, but that was because it advertised speed. As for signal service, we never got to gage it. However, the reviews show it to be strong overall.
