This router is a great piece of technology. It is easy to set up and manage, and it covers my entire house as advertised.

We have had problems for years with regards to our wifi signal. We have about a 1900 square foot house and so far I have had no complaints from anyone in the house. We are satisfied with our purchase.

I bought this purely from the recommendation of the Best Buy guy that was helping me (sorry don't remember name). I went in and told him I have AT&T gig service and a 2 story house and the wifi was crummy downstairs. He did not jump the the most expensive router he showed me the lower end and a mid range one, asked a few question on how we use wifi and gave his recommendation which again was not for the very high end expensive one. My service is now so much better I can actually use wifi downstairs with no problem.

It looks like an alien ship, but it works really well. One thing I have learned with various purchases of WiFi router - the more expensive they are, the better the performance. Using the NETGEAR Genie app makes connection and operation a snap!

Very good product. I bought this because it replaced the old Wi-Fi system that I have. I upped my data speed for my carrier Bright House to 150 and this thing works wonderfully with it. No problems with drop signals or anything like that.

Works much better than my old one. I had trouble before with coverage and I found this one covers my house much better. Also relatively easy to set up.

I decided to spend more on a WiFi router when my old (and less expensive) Netgear router gave up the ghost after six years of service. The extra spend was well worth it - subjectively, the range of both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands seems to be double that of the old router, which is good because it's also serving a wired network and had to be located in a far corner of my basement. A single wireless extender for the extreme opposite 2nd floor corner was all we needed to cover the entire house.

We bought the Netgear R7000 to increase the range in our house. We also wanted the 802.11ac protocol. Both have exceeded our expectations. The download speeds we get updating apps and watching streaming video work well. We have no issues with range in the house anymore. We particularly like the dual band. We can have one person on 802.11n and have the TV on the 5G band allowing us to do multiple things indifferent devices without interference. The device has a rich feature set and security settings which make it the ideal wireless router for our needs.

The Netgear is a great router for the home. It was easy to setup and definitely gave me the range I needed.

It has better range than expected, without compromising speed. Works excellent with bundle of my devices.

We purchased this router as an exchange for a Linksys AC2200. While the Linksys was a complete disaster (dropped connections and internet access about every hour requiring reboots), this Netgear router has been rock solid stable ever since installation. Setup was a breeze (we used the app) and we really haven't had to touch it since. Still need to setup the network storage with our external drive but I'm confident it will work great. Best router purchase we've made in many years.

I needed to boost the crummy internet in my apartment and this did the trick. A Best Buy employee recommended it and it may have been on sale when I got it. Pretty easy to set up...as long as you have a little experience plugging cables in and following directions. Also, this is just a router not a modem...I made that mistake and ended up having to buy a new modem as well (but no biggie I needed it anyway).

I live in a home where for some reason I cant walk for more than 30 steps away from my living room and loose signal. I regain it after I clear a hallway. This was the only thing that was helpful in distributing the signal throughout my home.

I am not a computer whiz, so I appreciate an easy setup. The range is good, and so far I have had no issues.

When spending $199 I sorta expected to have 5 bars everywhere in the house... while the coverage is good, it is not GREAT. Set up was very easy - that was a plus

To get the best out of your router it should be placed on the very top possible for best signal. Of course my cable connection/modem was brought through the basement, so I didn't want to run a service coil to the upstairs from the basement. I purchased this Nighthawk Router after trying an older N+ device that didn't cut it. It was easy to hook-up and configure, and works like a charm without dropping the signal for all our family's devices.
