I upgraded from a wireless router that I had from years ago. I have the performance speed on xfinty. I could only tell a little difference in the wifi speed on my phone and iPad. It's a good router but only buy when on sale NOT AT FULL PRICE.

So far so good, easy setup, great connection strength and range, much stronger and faster than my previous Linksys

This is an outstanding wireless router. Incredibly easy setup and excellent range. No dead spots in our three story house. Very satisfied.

This is by far the best wireless router I've purchased, with no lag or restart boot issues. It's very fast and responsive. A very good buy!

The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the time I've owned the product. This is my second Netgear Router the first one broke down after only 9 months. The first one I had was a different model. So far I like this one and we haven't had any issues with it. Hope it is still working 9 months from now. We have 3 t.vs, husband plays video games and other electronics it's working perfectly fine.

I was able to set it up but wifi wasn't working. I had to look up what to do and other reviews said to update the software. Had to plug in my computer to update it. Now it works. I like how it has an app that you can take control of who is using wifi and disable it or change different settings like guest wifi and limit use. There is also a way to block stuff for kids but I don't have any of those so I haven't tried using that yet. Also, it will only be as fast as the Internet that you buy from your service provider.

Purchased this router as a replacement for an older model NETGEAR about a month ago and love it.. Great coverage and speeds in our 2 story home.

I have owned three Netgear routers in the past. Each one an upgrade. This is the fastest router I have owned. Easy to setup.

We live in the country, needed a wireless router that would be strong enough for our 4 televisions throughout our 2 story home, as well as a printer and computer...the sales associate at Best Buys recommended this Nighthawk and we are 110% satisfied! We highly recommend the Nighthawk for its capabilities, the value and Best Buys for their knowledgeable associates who assist and help, never any high pressure!

Nice router for a small to mid size home. If larger than that, I'd go with a mesh system.

Easy setup great range good speed. I also enjoy buying my tech from best buy as they keep a record of everything you buy.

We upgraded from an older Nighthawk. There is a noticeable improvement over the older version. We had a technician from our internet provider out to work on lines from the street. While he was here we had him look over our setup. He said this Nighthawk router is the one he always recommends and that he uses personally.

easy to set up. runs at full bars on phone around house. with regular wifi, devices dropped repeatedly. with this one, hardly any droppage.

So pumped about the router. Great speed and good range! The BestBuy in Beaumont is the best! Such friendly people.

This router for the price was definitely worth it my cable internet speeds doubled and multiple devices run well now as well!

I've always heard good things about NetGear NightHawk routers and had always wanted one. I finally purchased one and have not looked back! It works perfectly for streaming to multiple devices, as well as it has dual xbox one support. That was a high priority when purchasing a new router. The routers I've had in the past, I'd always have to restart them because they'd either stop responding or they would get too hot to function properly. I have had absolutely no issues from the nighthawk!

I bought this because it had thousands for reviews and the range was for very large houses. While in a direct line of sight I get wifi outside well in the front or backyard. However, in one room where it has to go through 2 concrete walls it shows full signal, but I get no data throughput. If I walk out of that room into the hall my data immediately starts working again. I gave it 1 less star for that reason.

I was able to set up myself in a short time and it easily handles my smart tv and multiple tablets and phones.

We lived in a 100+ year old, 5000 square foot house. We had a difficult time getting the WiFi to all 3 stories. In the areas that it did get to the signal was compromised. When we bought this router, all of that went away. We still used two routers, but the speed was improved tremendously. I am guessing in a newer, smaller house, you would not need the second router.

Perfect and powerful router. Plug and play simplicity.
