I purchased this for my home wifi network. It generates the same speeds, is very consistent and very reliable. Love it.

This is exactly what I wanted, having a house full and Wi-Fi equipment (15+). playing my Xbox live was horrible until I got this.. Thank you better, I now can play madden 18 without paused and skipping

The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the time I've owned the product. This is my second Netgear Router the first one broke down after only 9 months. The first one I had was a different model. So far I like this one and we haven't had any issues with it. Hope it is still working 9 months from now. We have 3 t.vs, husband plays video games and other electronics it's working perfectly fine.

The netgear router was simple to install and believe me I am simple. so it was a breeze, It covers my wifi , printer and streaming, issues,

So far we have been very happy with this product. We bought our modem and router separately in case something happens to one or the other. It was easy to set up and honestly our only issues have been with the network provider.

Nice router for a small to mid size home. If larger than that, I'd go with a mesh system.

Great high performance router. Wireless range is excellent, even in the backyard. Secret to getting Chromecast on the wireless network is to use the firmware version that shipped on the device and setup separate SSIDs for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands and not to upgrade to the latest release of Netgear firmware. Maybe the next iteration of firmware will be stable.

Good router, easy setup, no dropout in any of my rooms.

I bought this because it had thousands for reviews and the range was for very large houses. While in a direct line of sight I get wifi outside well in the front or backyard. However, in one room where it has to go through 2 concrete walls it shows full signal, but I get no data throughput. If I walk out of that room into the hall my data immediately starts working again. I gave it 1 less star for that reason.

I have great connections coverage through the house. I thought that it wouold be strong enough to reach outside as well but it didn't make it much past my front door. I have had three Ipads and one TV streaming at the same time and no issues.

So most homes today have a lot of wireless activity going on and my 8 - 10 year old (I think) router just couldn’t keep up. This router was easy to setup but a little difficult to troubleshoot when I had an issue. The app wasn’t as helpful in fixing the issue, just informing me of the issue. All in all, the router works well and the corresponding app is convenient and informative. I dig it.

I had a WiFi gateway that was issued by the cable provider, and it wasn't doing what i needed it to do. I wasn't getting all my Upload and Download speed. I purchased this unit and now no complaints.

I don't game but I use VOIP, Hangouts, Virtual connection to office, VPN connections, Spotify, Sonos and it has never skipped a beat. All my calls are crystal clear with all those items running at the same time. I couldn't do all of this with my 900 routers. Coverage is really good too; can get an extra 50' or so from the 900 as well. .. New firmware lets you turn all but power light off so the room can be dark again! lol

Router has been excellent. Super easy to set up with guide and software. Allows me to stream and play games flawlessly.

We lived in a 100+ year old, 5000 square foot house. We had a difficult time getting the WiFi to all 3 stories. In the areas that it did get to the signal was compromised. When we bought this router, all of that went away. We still used two routers, but the speed was improved tremendously. I am guessing in a newer, smaller house, you would not need the second router.

After getting some help with the tech at the store, this router was perfect for my use on the computer. The signal reaches really far, since I have it plugged in on the first floor and I sit way up on the third floor. The tech at the store was very helpful in making my decision on this router, and so far its working great. I only wish the electrical cord was a little longer, as it was kind of a hard reach to the outlet on the wall where I have it. Other wise it's fantastic!
