After my Belkin router decided to call it quits earlier this semester, I was in need of a new, stronger router to use in my apartment. I did some research on different models, and this one stood out as the best for the price-range. Safe to say, it is one of the best purchases that I have made! It works great with my 3 room-mates, as well as anyone else that comes by. Strong enough for all of us to be online with wifi, and to still have the PS4 and Xbox1 hooked up for online play.

This product has met our expectations for our internet use. The store Customer Service person was accurate in his description of this being the best product for the use we intended to use it for.

Simple to set up and install. It has some good features, handles all of our WiFi demands and I like the WiFi range.

Before I had really lousy WiFi reception. With this router my signal strength is awesome and streaming is uninterrupted.

Currently there are only three top end routers to choose from. Asus AC68u, Linksys EA6900 and Netgear Nighthawk R7000. The only reason I choice this one, consider the hardware is essentially the same is the frequency of the processor. Was it the right decision? It works great. Of course with brand new hardware the firmware will still need to be ironed out, but from what I have read that is typically for all three routers? Am I happy with my decision? Yes.

This router paired well with my Motorola Cable Modem, was easy to set up and performs perfectly across my home and yard.

I live in a two story house and full bars throughout. Multiple devices connected at the same time with no issues.

I live in the country and internet service is not easy to get. My previous router struggled. When I switched internet companies I also was advised to try this router. It has been a 100% turnaround. No issues with two computers and television working at the same time. It is fairly new and I have not explored everything that it is capable of but so far very satisfied.

This was very easy to setup. It is powerful and helpful for fast and secure use.

I need a strong router to cover all the areas of my home and this model did the trick oerfectly. I wanted a separate router/modem combination so I could get better performance from my Comcast service. I bought a surfboard as well and they work wonderfully together. I’m paying for 75Mbps and I’m getting as high as 125 Mbps everywhere in the house. We have at least 4 devices running at any one time and there’s no hiccups or lags, ever.

I installed this router in a few minutes and it's been rock solid since. The signal is excellent even through four walls and 30 feet away. It has excellent features for the power user but easy to setup for the normal user. I currently stream my video games to a NVIDIA Shield. My older router dropped the connection every 30 minutes to an hour making most games unplayable. However, this router has a connection drop once only every 4 to 5 hours of gameplay (if that). It was a pricey purchase but I have no complaints.

Router is in basement of 2 story house and the signal covers the whole house. Very easy set up. Happy with the purchase.

Wonderful range and the Netgear Genie app makes controlling your network a breeze.

Replaced older unit and the performance is like night and day. Instant upgrade and very easy to set up. Excellent unit!

I appreciate the multiple bands and the option of having a guest network, i bkught this mainly to improve signal around my house but there is still some blind spots. I will be getting the extenders to see if it will improve coverage.

Great upgrade from Optimum-supplied router. Easy set-up and great app to monitor/test signal strength, etc.

Had this now for over a year!!! It is still working great! Gives juice to all my wifi connections. xbox's, netflix, phones, internet We run everything all the time and it can handle it all. Descent range to, to reach upstairs, main floor, and basement

Bought the Nighthawk to overcome some Comcast challenges with streaming TV. Solved them, no more buffering or stalls. Great product no regrets about the purchase.
