netgear nighthawk dual band router

My only cable is in the furthest room from my living room and i had too many disconnect issues with my Cox router. This was the answer! Plus, all my download speeds are great!

good signal; difficult startup when using as WAP

There were no clear instructions on how to get this accomplished. It took 5 calls to tech support for the last person- after 80 mins- to realize the channel on the netgear needed to be changed from auto to a specific number to match our main home router....setup as a main rounter is instantaneous

Worth it even if you're not a gamer

Pulled the trigger on this and haven't had too many issues with it. The firmware was initially buggy and caused connection drops. The new firmwares however (as of 09/2020) have resolved this issue for me and everything is flawless.

I've set this up and had no issues. Network seems to be responding much better now.
