We had constant dropping of our wi-fi with the router our cable company supplied. Ever since we purchased this, I haven't heard the kids complain once about no having service. Well worth the money spent.

Wanted my own and hope it could help with my cable signal

When !y son moved to Ypsilanti, he was having trouble with the internet at his apartment. Having just moved, and being short on funds, mom asked what would help - this router did the trick and made the perfect house warming gift.

Even though I have been paying for 50 Mbps , I averaged only 17 and it's been frustrating. The router increased the speed immediately to 54. Been using this for about 2 weeks and I have had no slow connections, dropped signals, or hang ups. I am very pleased with this router. The setup was very easy. The wifi signal strength is strong on all 4 floors of the house, the deck and even the garage. I have 9 devices connected to this with zero issue.

This router has been phenomenal! My father-in-law works in tech and uses this so I thought I'd give it a try. It's been able to handle multiple users and multiple devices without any slowness or problems. Many routers I've had in the past lose a significant amount of speed or can't handle more than 3 devices. We have on average 5 cell phones, Apple TV, a smart tv, and Xbox all on this network at the same time many times. Still no negative impact to speed.

Self install was done easily and quickly. The internet speed is great, better than my previous Xfinity modem.

We originally purchased a NETGEAR router from another retailer. It did not seem to work properly. After going to Best Buy and speaking with an associate it was determined that the router we were using was not suitable for our home application. We purchased this NETGEAR and installed. What a difference! We promptly returned the other to the other retailer. We found this very user friendly and it is still working!

My previous router was failing to capture devices throughout my house. Went to Best Buy and after discussing issues with tech, he recommended the Nighthawk AC 1900. Installation instructions were a bit complex (confusing) but, once understood, connecting several laptops, iPads and phones was easy. Now have strong signal throughout house. Haven’t yet made use of the unit’s full capability and options such as internet gaming but looking forward to doing so in near future.

Great product, it worked as advertised. You will need to know a little bit about home networks to set it up, it will just make it that much easier. We placed it in the middle of our 2400 sq ft home, it blankets the area with a strong signal. We use Roku for streaming, we have Apple and Android cell phones and PCs. It all works.

This thing really helps me get every dollar out of my internet. I have probably 8 things connected to this at any given time, and no issues streaming hd or gaming. Great product so far!

Range and speed are now FAR better utilizing this router in conjunction with Xfinity Xtreme wireless internet!

No problem setting this up and I really like the guest account feature. That will let me set up a temp account for my wife's visiting club without having to hand out our password for the router. Great idea!

I chose this router based on the insight and expertise of the Best Buy associate that helped me. After listening to what I needed, he pinpointed what would be best. The router has delivered perfectly.

This is a super fast router and has great range. First speed test from a floor away was 156mb. Highly recommend

Many choices at various price levels. There are probably better "deals" on Amazon, but we needed this quickly and elected to purchase it at Best Buy.

The set up was easy. The router is so much faster than my old one.

I am not a network techie, but know enough to be dangerous. This was easy to install and the dashboard is very helpful in understanding which device is attached to which channel, and to help me see passwords, etc. Am now considering moving it away from the interface at the house (I am using only the 6-ft cat5 cable provided) and to see if it is as effective 40-ft away, so it can be closer to the media unit near center of the house. Many of the comparable dual band routers are $50-75 more!
