Had an old n router that was not able to handle the number of wireless devices in the house. This router can handle all the devices and the range is great. I highly recommend it to anyone.

My old netgear router did not hold the wifi signal or would only transmit at 600 kps . not enough to watch videos on smart tv This keeps my signal consistent. and reliable. averages about 5750 to 6800 kps now. Still have my old netgear router too, some old laptops could not connect to the nighthawk. Have 3 laptops, two tablets; two desktops, 4 smartphones, two wireless printers, other roku devices and even some personal gaming devices, Overall - worth every penny.

It seems as if my history with Routers has not been the best. The last one which was equivocally priced, went to router heaven after just a couple years. I am hoping this one will last longer.

My wife was not able to watch her Netflex with our old wifi. We look into different ones and picked this one. It has beem great so far. My wife gets steady streaming and buffering with her Netflex.

I am a digitally-challenged senior so I wasn’t sure I could handle install. But the instructions were straightforward and the install went smoothly with a few minor glitches that were immediately remedied with suggestions from the app. Now we no longer have buffering issues and can stream movies, etc. seamlessly.

switched from dsl to cable because of price promotion and speed. I bought an arris 6190 modem and netgear 1900ac router so I woudnt have to rent my router/modem . I thought I would call the cable company to install it for me because i'm not very technical but was told by a friend that it was easy to install and setup and it was. Easy install and setup for both equipment and the signal is strong all over my two story house

Researched this a long time, finally pulled the trigger. Replaced older netgear and this is clearly best router I've had the pleasure of owning. Wireless coverage is amazing! Located in my basement and signal strength to the mailbox... A house and across the street away! Hooked up to gig switch behind AV, handles PS4, Apple TV and other devices on the switch. 2 iPads, 2 kindles, 2 iPhones, streaming HD MLB package effortlessly with others surfing. Amazing. Get it.

We had to replace our router after our other one was fried by lightening. This has been everything we need. We have a 1656 sq ft house on an acre of property. I can be on the tractor listening to my music still on the wifi from the house while I mow the yard. It also supports our fully connected household without any interruptions or lagging.

Easy to install and has a nice range, good deal for the price.

Got this to replace Spectrum router which did not give me the capability to choose which band, 2.4 or 5g, so that my TV would stream better. The install was very easy and renaming my networks was also very easy. I am not a super “techie” guy, so this was right up my alley. Good range as well.

Great range. I have a large home and was having issues in rooms furthest away from router. The nighthawk fixed this problem.
