This was one of the easiest routers to install. I had bought a more expensive router and couldn't get it installed. Returned it and bought this one. Plugged it in and followed the instructions and was in business within probably 10 minutes. One note: you must have access to a cell phone or another device to install this router. Recommended for houses about 1000 sq feet.

I purchased this NETGEAR wifi router based on the performance of another NETGEAR wifi router that I purchased, and because I wanted to make sure there was enough signal strength for coverage in a 2-story townhouse. Reviews claimed this wifi router adequately covered larger and 2-story houses. Success! This router has good signal strength throughout (shows max signal on our wifi devices). Highly recommended.

Easy set up. This router gives me excellent coverage throughout my home. Very fast.

Performance is great, really good coverage and many features on the web console. The android app not so good.

I did alot of research before buying this router. Several good ones on the market but for the capabilities and the price, this one was hard to beat. Still impressed after several months

Works fine. Thought it was a little pricey. Ended up returning it because we still had connectivity issues and turns out we needed a panoramic router and purchased from our cable provider. Otherwise this one would have worked fine. We have bought Netgear routers in the past and will buy again in the future when needed.

This is a great router that was very easy to install. It increased my download speed by over 30% and allowed me to take full advantage of my newer tech gadgets (Note 3, Ipad Air, Nexus 7, iphone 5S. Highly recommend this router.

Great range, super fast, no problems what so ever!

I had the standard Time Warner cable modem and router before this unit. It was less than optimal and I spent half my time finding good coverage in the house. I purchased the unit and had Geek Squad come and install it. Lets just say it is a vast improvement and I have even better speed throughout my house, even the basement!! It has a handy app so you can manage the network easily from the comfort of your couch.

Overall great router. Has sufficient range for our to reach our basement from the second floor of our house. Only complaint would be that automatic firmware updates have caused android devices to lose internet connectivity. Recommend not having firmware updates set to automatic and that you for issues on the internet before you update firmware.

Good speed. 5G signal weaker than anticipated. Overall range is better than previous router. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for a router that would work in a business with a good amount of interference. This router is very fast and has great range.

I purchased a new NetGear Nighthawk router at the recommendation of a Best Buy store clerk. I was very surprised at how the cost had risen since my last router purchase. It works fine, but no other night light is needed in either the room it is in, nor the hallway or other bedrooms as it projects quite a glow. It also takes up more space on my desk, and came with poor directions.

Works great and easy to setup no longer need repeater and great speed for streaming
