Bought my first Netgear Nghthawk as the recommended router for my point of sale system which MUST function reliably, super fast and with exceptional security for credit card processing. Loved it so much I bought another for my back office needs and employee use. Router level controls allow me to limit the types of websites they can visit, etc. highly recommend for personal and/or small business use!

Great range, covers the entire house without a problem. Very fast no matter where you are in the house.

I bought this for this main reason of playing multiple Xbox ones on the same network with an open nat setting. Works great except for the fact the a couple of games had some issues that were fixed instantly by downgrading to a different firmware on the router. After I installed the older firmware my games worked amazing!! (This fixed the infinite load screen glitch from overwatch.) very easy to set up as well.

I'm very happy with this purchase. The initial setup of the router was very easy. I was able to further secure the router (e.g., disable WPS) using the Genie interface. However, for some users, navigating through the interface might be slightly troublesome. Fortunately, it's easy to find where everything is located & what you need to do to secure the router by doing a Google search.

This saved my gameing from my old router, I thought I needed better internet speed, turned out this was all I needed and I'm back to gaming without having to upgrade my service.

So far my roommate and I have had no issues with this router. We both are able to stream wirelessly and play online video games at the same time with no issues.

I have many devices that need wifi, ithis router can handle the traffic. The Netgear support people are very good at understanding any problems and they have great follow up.

I have had this for almost two years now. Work excellent for the first 18 months, then a firmware update was pushed out and basically turned this into a paperweight. Netgear support is useless unless you want to pay for them to help you with their own equipment. My normal daily routine is to unplug and reboot everyday when I come home from work and hope it stays working the rest of the evening. Looks like I will be spending more money to replace this due to no new firmware updates for months now to correct the problem. I had held out hope they would fix their own faults but no luck. Now the decision is do I stick with netgear that used to work seemlessly with my Netgear mesh extender and hope they dont screw up the firmware on other models or go with a different brand. Thanks Netgear for ruining a great product

I moved into a new house that’s much larger than my old one. I was already having problems with my connection when on my Xbox but with this new router I have no problems! My roommate and I use it at the same time while both playing Xbox and have zero issues being on the opposite side of the house from it.

This router has a nice consistent signal and the install was extremely easy.

This router has been so easy to use and set up. I get no lag and no disconnects. All my internet issues have been taken care of all at once! It was a easy set up and have not had to do anything since. As well as it has a usb in the front that is really easy to access. Get this router and thank me later. No review will do it justice. Plus looks awesome, Just try it!
