lightning strike
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we had a bad lightning storm and a strike sounded as if it hit about 5 feet from our house. it came in through our land line and killed the phones, the router, the phone company's modem. it did not harm our computers though. the only bad thing was it did NOT destroy our two televisions. This one works like a charm. I did purchase the extended warranty. I may be old but I do learn fairly quickly.

Worth the money

Haven’t had any issues and it was super easy to set up. You do it all from your phone and it has added security which is nice to have.

Rock solid wireless coverage and performance

This thing has provided rock-solid wireless coverage and performance since day 1. Gone are the days of rebooting the router every other day. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is that its security/firewall features aren't as customizable as I would like. Then again, I'm a pretty picky IT professional and the features it has get the job done.

Fantastic Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from an old Airport Base Station and loaded some open source firmware on this and it has been a powerhouse of a router. LAN and WAN speeds have increased dramatically. Signal strength has been improved as well. Netgear has really impressed me with this product and I will look at their offerings first when it comes time to replace / upgrade.
