Awesome router, super fast

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have spectrum WiFi and I had a WiFi extender hooked up to it but the WiFi was still slow and it would cause me to lag at times when playing on my PS4. Ever since I’ve got the Nighthawk, it’s so much better. The WiFi is faster and I’m the only that uses it so it’s efficient. My extender works with it as well. At times I’ll have a lag spike but overall it’s good

Quality Router with one major flaw

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the first 3-4 months this was a great router, but then starting having daily (sometime multiple times per day) reset bug that Netgear router have now experienced for years and seems immune to fixes. So far no even Netgear tech and engineers have come up with an explanation. By resetting the firmware to a prior version I've gotten the resets down to once a day or every other day, but not solved even after hours of research and multiple attempts to change settings. It works well otherwise, but at some point in 2021 I will likely replace it with a different brand router. This is my 3rd Netgear router over the last dozen years and it's unfortunately not going to last the 5-7+ years the last two did.

Fixed my slow internet speeds

Replaced my modem how many times, changed cables, last resort was my old Apple AirPort Extreme router. This product was recommended by a cable tech and so I went ahead and tried it. I said what can I lose, my speeds already slow and I'm suppose to have 300mbps speed. After switching to this router, my speeds were up between 250-300 mbps. I am very happy.
