I had a nice router that I used for a business but had been moved several times and was 5 years old so decided to look at a new one. The bestbuy salesman was very knowledgable on this product and it didnt disappoint. I have a 2 story 4 bedroom house and it provides more than enough signal for anything from movies to gaming anywhere in the house. Highly recommend.

Replacement for my old one. So far so good I’ve had a few buffers on my firestick so I don’t know if this is normal or not. I was worried if I had to reset my security camera system due to new router but I was happy I didn’t have to. I’m getting my advertised internet speed so I’m happy!

This router worked really well for me, unfortunately i had to return it because i needed it more for gaming. Dont get me wrong it still worked pretty good but it seemed to work better for smaller devices like phones and casting devices. Would still recommend if your needing a router for those used.

Replaced a 10 year old wireless router with this awesome device. The wireless range and signal strength is excellent throughout my entire two story house.

Quick and easy set-up. Works very well, covers the entire house.

Overall the router is great- it is a pain to set up and is very finicky when paired with my router. Also randomly locked an ethernet port to a sub 100mb connection. Works great, but for whatever reason it's unnecessarily difficult to get it to sync to my modem.

NetGear was recommended to me when seeking to upgrade our home router. Installation was simple and have had no issues whatsoever with connectivity.

I had recently switched to a new internet provider and had never really experienced good speeds. Once I switched to the nighthawk it all changed. Now I have tripled my speeds and have began creating my smart home one piece at a time. This was a great first step. Excited to continue. Also the NETGEAR UP app is the best part of the smart WiFi.

This router provides great coverage. It allowed me to replace two repeaters in my home with just this router. The next closest router which I found with coverage close to this was the new Apple device. In comparison, Apple was easier to set up, but Netgear provided a stronger signal throughout our home.

I purchased this router to replace an aging N-speed router that was falling short supporting multiple devices concurrently. This performance on this router was night and day different. I'm now able to stream from multiple devices at the same time and it give specific devices preference to the most bandwidth when I need it. Highly recommended.

This router was easy to setup. From out of the box to connecting devices about 20 minutes. It came with patch cable. App works well and the browser interface is fairly easy to use. If you like to customize there are options for that type of user.

Very impressed with ease of set up and speed of device.

If you're not aware of what bufferbloat is - Eseentially in Layman's terms it's when you've got so much internal traffic within your network that the router's CPU just "can't keep up with the speed" and QOS (Quality of service) delivery implementations begin pooping themselves trying to make your internet deliver any kind of a desireable experience ultimately making it worse in the end. This router solved that for me. I've got a Cloud computing system, a minecraft server, a media server, 2 gaming desktops, 3 phones, a table,t and 2 smart tv's all running to this thing in one way or another, and it keeps up with all of them just fine. WIFI range is about what you'd expect, and YMMV depending on the structure of your home, walls, studs, etc. so I'm not even going to bother going into all of that. It works, it works good, and it's a tried and true Router that has plenty of Open source firmware options if you're brave enough to try them and really explore this thing's potential.

No more dead or weak zones in the house anymore and now I can even get WIFI in my shop which is at the back of my third acre lot.

The recorder is smaller than I thought which I like. The directions did not cover all the options in the menu so it is a pure guessing game as to what the items do in the menu and how to save files into folders, etc. very disappointing. No strap or cover was in the box as noted on the instructions either. Not sure what is going on with that or whether the insert is not correct.

Purchased this unit as we needed a better wifi router than our basic model for personal and business use. Had some issues with our internet provider and all connectivity problems kept getting blamed on the router. Took any issue of too small or basic out of the picture with this having more than enough speed and power for any upgrade we plan on. Works great and was simple to install.

Recommend by salesman since I have a weak signal on one side of my house. This fixed the problem. Never knew my WiFi was so good.
