The nighthawk that I have in my possession has good range capabilities but the download speed leaves a lot to be desired. It might just be the router that I have.

After looking for a while, I settled on the NETGEAR- nighthawk R7000. I needed to extend the coverage area on my house, and it has been working great. It was straightforward to set it up through the app. Again, it has been working great so far!

At first it was difficult to set up with our internet. I had to contact the manufacture to reset the router. They were very nice and hrlpful.

Moved into a larger house, the old router just wasn't cutting it, getting about -75 to -80 dBm where my desktop is. Purchased this, now getting around -54 to -58 dBm. BIG difference, no more buffering conference video calls (although I'll prob still say I didn't hear HAAAA)

Got my internet working back to normal! My old router wasn't working and I kept losing connection. This one solved the problem and extends throughout the house. I did need to call Netgear for some help with installation (I'm not tech savvy) and they were very helpful.

Look, is it a good router? Yes!. Does it get awesome distance? No! So what does that mean? 1000 square foot house, if placed in decent spot (as close to center as you can get), this is the router for you. Otherwise, its good for about 4-5 people to go nuts on streaming and whatever at once. Assuming you get the speeds to do that.

Great router!! This replaced my old much smaller Netgear router that, after 7 yrs or so started kicking me off wifi regularily. This one is fantastic! I am never kicked off and now have range out on my deck so I can work outside. :)

Like this router a lot. So much faster, and very easy installation.

After more than 20 months, the performance of this router is still through the roof. I have 100 MB/s download internet service at home, and doing a speed test of my network over wifi in the farthest location from the router gave me roughly about 95.6 MB/s download. I'm very happy w/ this purchase and will definitely buy another one in the future!

Not sure what I needed to boost poor Comcast wireless signal store sales recommend this unit. It has made a great improvement on our performance.

Able to use 3 smart TV's, laptop and cell phone with this router - great product. The only drawback was the antennae that do not stay in position when moved.

Purchased to replace TP Link N series router. Let's just say I wish I would have done it sooner. If your internet service is not performing at the advertised speed, you're old router is most likely the culprit. A great choice for those who most likely won't use the features available on more expensive routers available. It has been awesome so far.

This router works great with my new 1G internet via USI Wireless. Haven’t had any buffering at all. We have 5 tvs and 4 cell phones connected. So this gets lots of WiFi usage. It’s not easy to find a router that gives great coversge in a stucco house on 3 floors but this one does the job.

The router works seamlessly, much better than ISP's router. Would recommend to anyone who wants a stronger/reliable wifi signal

It's been awhile since we've needed a new router. I was a little surprised at how much more expensive they are now. We didn't buy the more pricey models, but are very happy with this one. The router was easy to install and the app is very handy at resetting passwords and knowing who is using our wireless. I'm sure it has even more capabilities which we'll discover.

Wifi is better than ever and easy to set up and get working

We are using it in a home just over 3,000 sq. ft. and it is in the far side upstairs. Even outside the signal is great. I tried the AC1450 and had all types of problems. Almost changed from Netgear but glad I tried this one first. I have 18 devices and everyone one has worked. And if you have devices that work on 5ghz band you can do that at the same time. I think you will be happy
