I live a a complex of towne homes so having the 2 different frequencies is very nice to avoid interference from surrounding networks and devices.

Very good router: fast speeds for multiple streaming devices running at one time. Multiple devices and people connected and it never slows down. Netgear app is nice, too! Makes it easy to troubleshoot and view what devices are connected.

I have not had the sudden drop of internet coverage or actually any drop of services since having the "nighthawk". I am happy with my purchase.

Got my internet working back to normal! My old router wasn't working and I kept losing connection. This one solved the problem and extends throughout the house. I did need to call Netgear for some help with installation (I'm not tech savvy) and they were very helpful.

We love this router. We had a lot of problems with our internet when we first moved in, but after getting this router we have had amazing internet all throughout the house with multiple devices running. This is a great choice!

We have 4 people using the internet at one time, using multiple devices. We were having problems with slow internet connections and losing connection to the internet at random times. Not sure if this helped or not. Internet is still slow at times, and we still have random lost connections, especially on x-box, but not as often as it used to.... It was easy to install though....

I have this hardwired to my smart tv, and game consoles making it much easier for everything else in the household to connect wirelessly and everything has great speed where desired. This router is for intermediate users who do not require top of the line but would like to have a strong upgrade from the basics

After looking for a while, I settled on the NETGEAR- nighthawk R7000. I needed to extend the coverage area on my house, and it has been working great. It was straightforward to set it up through the app. Again, it has been working great so far!

Bought this because our old router in the living room would not project good internet all the way to the bedroom. Now we have full bars all over the house.

This router came highly recommended by numerous tech friends and one of the Best Buy employees we talked to. We have not been disappointed.

The router came with firmware that needed to be upgraded. The upgrade caused WiFi devices to loose contact with the router. Using the in router help file, a beta firmware patch was found and the problem was fixed. Two days later a final firmware upgrade was released and all has been working perfectly for the past month.

Unit handles incredible speed and allows internet in every room

The netgear router has reliant since we installed it. We finally have WiFi throughout our house. The security software has made blocking smams a lot better. Unfortunately the security software is free for a limited time and then you have to pay for it. It should be free forever as I’m tired of up charging.

I have a netgear both modem and router combo. It worked great for years and speeds were good. Now it started acting up a bit so i decided its time for a new one i bundled it with a CM500-100NAS and this router is amazing went from getting 50-60mbps to 200mbps its amazing! Just save yourself the trouble of searching and get this awesome bundle!

Great router!! This replaced my old much smaller Netgear router that, after 7 yrs or so started kicking me off wifi regularily. This one is fantastic! I am never kicked off and now have range out on my deck so I can work outside. :)

I recently purchased my router and it's awesome. I live in a 2500sqft two story home and it covers both floors equally well. Although, I did learn that when we switched internet providers to Spectrum, we experienced a few glitches. This dual router are not compatible with all Spectrum modems.
