I like this router in that when it works it has a great signal and upload/download speeds. On occasion it needs to be rebooted because the signal intermittently drops or it isn't visible to devices. I simply unplug it, let it sit for a few minutes and then restart. Once I do that it works well until it flakes out again. Overall I like the router, just the occasional reboot can be inconvenient.

Overall I really like this router. The wifi is very fast and the Internet speed I get when using it is actually faster than advertised. The only quirk that I've found is that when an external drive is connected everything slows way down - disconnect the drive and everything returns to normal. I've only tried one external drive so I don't know if it's a problem with the router or with the drive.

This router is by far the best one I've had. This router can handle my Xbox one with 4 iPhones tagged with no lag in online gaming.

After a month with this router in my work from home situation, it has shown to be a wonderful router. The interface for it is a bit difficult to navigate at first since I haven't needed to in 4+ years, but minor things such as having to search the menus to find where to rename it for simple use like mine. Otherwise the intuitive off button near the power helps with rebooting it, and is a switch so you know when it's off or on instead of a single non-reactive button. A small detail but one I appreciate when troubleshooting issues such as my failing router which brought about needing this purchase in the first place. The lights do a good job telling the story once you understand them, and display offline or boot up elements with a different color light so you have more information. I care less about design than functionality, but it's also a wonderful looking router as well.

A friend recommended this wireless router. I had intended to purchase a less expensive one, but when I stated looking at the technical info on it, it seemed to be the best choice for my large 2-story home. The previous router had some trouble reaching out to computers on the perimeter of my home. This new router does not have that problem. Everyone in the home is happy with their "bars" now.

I bought this for my son in his apt and it has solved the slowness issues he was having with streaming tv and movies.

My equipment was aging (router was 5 yrs old / cable modem, etc.) so it was time to upgrade to something better/faster. I have been pleased with this router so far - it is BIG and BRIGHT (lights) but hidden behind other equipment it's not intrusive. My high-speed Comcast connection now services my devices with more efficiency.

I know nothing of the tech. world but do know I love it when it works! My router at my salon stopped working. When I went to Best Buy the team helped me figure out what would work best for my salon's needs. I'm extremely happy with their direction, the router is great! Everything runs so much better than even when the old one was new.

it seems anything is better than the wack fake router the "cable company" gives you. This Nighthawk is phat. wish it was a little cheaper but the router is good. easy to set up but not as easy as the advertising would have you believe. but the router is PHAT none-the-less. can control thru phone app which is phat.

Works great in a two story house with multiple streaming devices.

Router helps to connect to the internet in a house with cinder-block walls. It has been a proble, with just one router in a long house.

my wifi signal is an actual signal now, it is strong and it reaches everywhere in my house and I can have 4+ devices using wifi at the same time!!!

Router performs well as advertised on the 2.4ghz band. Haven't tested 5ghz. I like the management features -- easy to navigate and use.

Great choice if you want a great internet connection with no lag or anything slowing you down.
