Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was pretty easy. I am not much above a novice and had no problems. My son did the strength test on his Xbox One and said the signal was much higher than before. We have the router one first floor in a small computer room and the Xbox upstairs in a corner room.

Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this router to upgrade my old router. My old router was also a Netgear router,. This new router was easy to install and I am happy with it. It has better range than my old router and has worked for several weeks now without any problems.

Had for a few years, good reliable router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 of these routers. 1 at work and 1 at home. I like them and they are reliable. Nothing is perfect these days. But beyond resetting on a rare occasion (maybe 2 times per year) and upgrading firmware, it's a great router.

Worth it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This WiFi router was significantly more costly than I was expecting, but we got it anyway because there have always been WiFi dead areas in our home using a modem/router combo. This router boosted our WiFi greatly and happily we no longer have any dead zones.

Good Router once installed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been paying for high internet speeds and only reaching a 1/4 of the limit. I have had my old router for over 10years with no problems, but after the cable technician said that my old router just doesn't have the capability to reach the speeds I am paying for, we decided to make the purchase. I was concerned what brand would work well with the equipment provided by Time Warner Cable (now Spectrum). A friend at work and I were talking about routers and she mentioned she just installed this model and it works great. I purchased it solely on the fact of its proven compatibility with the existing equipment provided by the cable company. There were other options that were less money with very comparable data transfer rates. I have about 11 items within the home that requires or accesses wirelessly. I thought this installation would be a simple plug and play. Absolutely wrong! The phones connected seamlessly, but the other equipment was difficult to connect. I spent over 2-1/2hrs on hold for NetGear Support only to have the line disconnected. Spent another hour or so before I finally got through to Tech Support only for them to say it was MY equipment and I would have to pay $80 for a service plan for them to help me. I started the call to Tech Support around 9am and didn't get everything connected until well after 5pm! It was the Mfg of my other equipment that was able to finally get me connected. The equipment is also in a very unusual shape making mounting this difficult or having to take up valuable desk/counter/etc space to leave sitting out somewhere. Although it is now working as expected, it was not without some heartache along the way. I am also not thrilled with their customer service. My choice to not recommend this product is due to their lack of customer service. I do have some technical knowledge, but I did need help. The purchase wasn't even a few days old when I called for support, so to have them ask for money to help me get connected didn't sit well. My other router was a Belkin and although the model was outdated, after almost 10 yrs their customer service would help me anytime I had connectivity issues.

Worked really well, easy setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Xfinity router, one that was gray and stood up. Decided to get my own and save some money down the road. Didn't realize just how much better this router would be. Two story house and the signal strength is excellent throughout.

Nice wireless router.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up use and understand how to use. I also found good online instructions to open special ports for security cameras. I like the USB ports for printer, memory sticks or hard drives. Makes it easy to access a file the you often edit like a checkbook from multiple devices.
