Reasonably easy installation Wifi to components really easy (tv's, computers, phones) Printer function has needed to be reloaded several times and phone app shut down almost immediately. Still these are secondary to main function was looking for and wifi is quick and steady

Excellent router, indeed. Signal strength is crazy good. 1500sqft 2-story home with zero drop off in signal. Went outside to the corner of the house, probably 30-40yrds away and still getting max signal. Thats through a few walls and down a level.

I use this for my whole house, but it is situated in my gaming room, where I have possibly the best connection, wired and wifi I have ever had, on Xbox PS4 and WiiU. DL speeds are similar to cheaper routers in my experience but latency is greatly improved.

My wifi router wasn't that old when it went out, so I didn't expect a big change with the new one. But I was very pleasantly surprised. My speeds went from about 30 to mid 90s. And I can get reception to the very ends of my house.

Great product would recommend this product to someone who games but does not have a wired connection. We have quite a few wireless computers in our home and it sends a strong signal and seems to perform to our needs.

Instantly added speed to the home network. Was paying monthly internet bills and not fully tapping into the speed. After installed for a while, learned about some cool features, such as remote access for resetting or traffic monitoring.

With this router we are able to get a strong wifi signal throughout our entire property, using multiple smart phones, smart TV's, laptops, and more. It was simple to set up. It is a little pricey but worth the money.

I had purchased this item to go along with my Netgear CM1000 cable modem and Xfinity Gigabit internet after reading many positive reviews and very few negative. Upon getting home and setting up, it did not recognize my cable modem. A quick call to Netgear had me spoof the MAC address from my computer to the router and then sure enough, it started working. Speeds via Ethernet around 950 Mbps and on WiFi around 140-150 Mbps, both of which I considered to be acceptable for my needs. Streaming worked fine, gaming had no lag or stutters. About 30 minutes after getting everything up running the devices connected to WiFi all said no internet connection, but the hardwired computer was still working properly- eliminating the ISP or the modem as the culprit. I rebooted the router, everything was up and running again so we went on about our lives. 15 minutes later exact same scenario. It’s still connected to the WiFi network, but the internet wasn’t working over WiFi, only Ethernet. I gave it a few minutes to see if it would correct itself and it did. But again 15-20 minutes later the same issue happened. This repeated itself every 15-30 minutes throughout the day. I updated the firmware (manually, because the automated system said up to date despite there being many newer versions on the website) and still had the same issue, so I returned it and purchased the Linksys Max-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 router, which was $10 cheaper than I paid for this Netgear. Immediately recognized my modem and have not had any drops in going on 24 hours now. Ethernet speeds are the same, but WiFi speeds on the Linksys are 400Mbps+ so almost double the Netgear to boot (I’m assuming this is due to WiFi 6). I have purchased many Netgear products in the past and haven’t had many issues, and their support was quick and helpful, and while its possible I got a lemon, as of now I’m glad I swapped over to the Linksys router.

Purchase this in Aug 2017 after Hurricane Harvey. Works great without extender. My netgear 600 stop working after 2 1/2 years. Hope this last longer than 2 1/2 years. My home is 1600 sq ft , and this Nighthawk AC1900 works all over the house.

Great router if you are a normal family using 5 or so devices on decent internet. If you want good 4k streaming quality with more devices then you'll have to upgrade. But for an average house this router is great and won't skimp on range or power.
