I pay for 100mbps internet and wasn't getting my money's worth with the rental modem. I bought this paired with an Arris modem, and it works like a champ. Easy to set up as well.

We have a lot of things that use WiFi and are hardwired in to the network throughout our house. So far this router has been great. No malfunctions and range is much better than our older netgear.

My old router didn't cover my whole apt (very old building w thick walls). Wifi now in all rooms thanks to netgear. Easy to install (well, the Verizon guy had no problem)

Installed fine, took an extra 10 minutes on the phone with support, resolved issue (didn't need DSL password as modem was providing it), and all works very well. Works thoughout the home and including outside patio.... would buy again.

This is a fantastic router that I bought a couple of years ago for myself. I bought this one for my parents and they are so happy that they are no longer experiencing wifi drops!

This does what we need it to. The "gamers" are happy as well.

The coverage is great in AC band. I can tell the difference from my old one using my laptop out side to remote control a telescope. I have low e glass on the windows which blocks some signal.

This router was my 2nd attempt for our new home. It is installed at the bottom of the stairs and provides a good signal for both the main floor and the basement. Works great.

Talked to an associate at the store and it does everything it stated and more. I run 3 smart TV's, 4 phones and 3 computers on the Wifi and it never slows down. Faster than LTE on my phone. Thanks!

I like the ability to map what is connected to it.

My internet speeds on mobile are amazing. I have 100mbps download, and my phone gets close to that over wifi. My wired PC gets a constant feed and I never get a dropped connection.

Setup was simple and download speeds seem really fast. The only limitation I see is that adding multiple devices can slow things down a bit - it is a dual band after all.

Purchased this for our vacation condo. It was very easy to set up and works great! Love the option of creating a guest wifi password.

My old router died and I puchasedthis one and it's worked out very well. Easy to set up and use.

After Geek Squad hooked it up and did everything to it, it works great! Very fast. It just don't change smart phones via USB fast at all. May I also recommend, getting a cat6 shielded ethernet cord. It helps alot.

We just moved into a new place where we could finally get fast internet and we have lots of devices and this is just great. Haven't had any issues and it has great coverage for our small place.

Easily handles the blazing speed coming from my cable provider. Allows me to work with several devices simultaneously. Would definitely recommend.

Netgear Nighthawk's always perform for me. I install a lot of these. They're setup interface is easy to use. Performance is great.

I got the router to replace an Asus type N from 2007. I felt a newer router should provide better speed and finally be able to cast one ID for both frequencies. Also parental controls on the old router only provided half hour incremenrs. Off the bat, the new router prevented Apple devices from accessing some web sites, usually secure sites or just random sites. Internet was also sluggish. Called support and had to spell out everything because the call center is in a foreign country. Changing the DNS address fixed the web site issue... Parental controls stopped working.. Not that I used them because they are the same and don't work with secure sites such as YouTube. But... If you pay a monthly fee, Disney circle can block anything... But it costs money... So no thanks. I had to unjoin the bands because everything jumped on the 5hz band which is faster, but limits the range and I kept seeing my devices using cell antenna... The house is 1200 sq/ft. The old repeater isn't compatible with this router, so it's another espense. The alexas keep disconnecting, losing their wifi settings. I had to issues with this in the past. So to resume... Buying this new router hasn't Improved anything.
