We live in a duplex apartment with the lower level subterranean. The building is steel and reinforced concrete construction. Prior to installation of the Netgear Nighthawk, wireless access was limited to one floor (ie: if the cable modem was on upper floor, there would be no service downstairs and vice versa.). After installation on the upper floor we now have WiFi coverage throughout the apartment. Signal strength diminishes in some areas but it is always strong enough to maintain connectivity. I would recommend this device in situations where construction materials create interference that a standard wireless router's signal cannot penetrate.

Easy to set up, works great, has good range and like the built in network security features

Had an issue with the original one but Netgear stood behind this unit and provided a replacement. Works fine without issue now.

love it I’m running 2 cell phones,4 gameing systems, and upload video to you tube and netflex runs grate all at once with no slow down.

Super easy setup. Love the remote access. Covers my 3000+ square foot house with 4 bars of signal strength.

Very easy to install. Was easy to update password and connection. Love the fact that it blocks dangerous URL's to my computer.

This is a good router at a decent price. Some other routers have some additional features but this one gets the job done for us at about half the price as the more expensive models.

I don't do the gaming thing, but it seems to work very well for internet. It was fairly easy to set up which is good for a not so tech guy.

I replaced an old router I had. Cannot complaint, it works amazing and the range is super good for a big house

Ease of installation was great for a non-techy. Had other problems non-related. WIFI does take awhile to become available.

I purchased this router to improve my Optimum provided router. It was a 1000% improvement. I can finally use my computer in my study, which is upstairs .

If you want good fast Wifi then this router is made for you enjoy getting speeds at 1900 mbs is something you'll enjoy for your Wifi needs.

Has significantly improved wifi in our home. Installation guide could have been more detailed about what to plug the router into.

I like it. Slight learning curve during set-up if you are a novice, but wasn't difficult. Best part is that now we have full, fast coverage upstairs at the furthest parts of our home.

I purchased this router because the one we had was old and my son could not connect to the internet from his room. It was very easy to install. If I can do it anyone can.

We have four TVs in our household, two laptops and two tablets. We stream with no issues, and surf the Internet . Again no problems or issues. Very happy with device.

We just moved to a new house that has coaxial internet hookups only on either the far side upstairs or the other far side downstairs. We had the n600 and it just could reach the other far side of the house which is approximately 2200 sq/ft. We bought the Nighthawk AC1900 router and our whole house is covered. The main problem was streaming at the far side with the n600 but we have no problem at all with the AC1900. I would definitely recommend if range is what you are looking for.

this wireless router was easy to install and setup with my existing home network. Once I changed the settings, all my devices were recognized and added to the network.
