Got this to fix lag issues after ditching cable. Usually have 2 phones and 2 tv streaming content as well as gaming on Xbox1 at same time. Handles all of it with no sweat and rangewise covers whole house and most of the yard (about 1/4 acre). Setup was a breeze.

This product is easy to assemble and connect. It covers my 1800 square foot town home upstairs and downstairs beautifully!

Purchased this router as have over 3,000 square feet. This gave me the range and superior performance. Would highly recommend.

I would say this is one of the top 5 routers to use if have a family that uses multiple devices at once or do a lot of gaming. Their is no lagging or slowing down of your connection. It's also able to tell which devices need the most speed. Let's not forget that you can use it for extra storage too. So if you have files that you need to access from different devices this feature is really great.

This router rocks! We had a different model and we coupled with extenders, etc. to get full coverage of our home. With this model, all of that is now gone! We have one router covering our large home. (about 4000 plus square feet). Not sure everyone would get this result, but we are very happy and even if we need to add an extender back in later so far we see no need. Great job Netgear!

This product is amazing from the get go. I bought it because I have a many devices hooked up wireless. I use the 5 ghz station for just my XB1 and the rest of my devices go on the 2.5 channel. XB1 to pc game streaming works perfect. Ever since i started using this product I have noticed faster speeds and no disconnects. I am extremely satisfied. Before i purchased the router, I seriously thought my internet line was going bad. All i needed was to replace my old router with this beast.

This router does what it says it will & it's coverage in my house and outside it are good. I also bought this router because it is docsis 3.0 or higher, which is a standard for routers. My Wi-fi speeds are as high each media device, such as my PC's wireless adapter will handle. It runs at 433mbps, on the 5G band because that is the PC's max. Check or review your media products to see what maximum wi-fi they will handle. If your tablet will only handle 65 mbps, then it won't operate any faster with a 5G band router capable of speeds up to 600 MB. My speeds did improve as much as they were capable of. I still have my Xbox connected by cable for best speed. Connecting to your router with a browser is supported with a good downloadable Netgear app for PC; I believe it is called Netgear Genie. The Netgear Nighthawk Android app doesn't really allow you to make any substantial changes to your router settings except maybe to update the router & adjust access to the router. While there is good service with personal tech support, I believe the free support only lasts 30-45 days.

If you are looking for a full function router with excellent range and amazing speed this is it. Took a while to configure because it needed to restart a lot when making changes, but menus are intuitive and the user interface is clean and for the most part understandable. Some of the menu choices are kind of hidden where you wouldn't expect to find them. Genie is amazing! If you don't get it quite right you may end up blocking some important things, but it is pretty great at keeping pxrn away. You have to be specifically looking...and really digging to find it. The I it exception is that if you allow image searches, it won't recognize pxrnographic images. I bought this for my wife's business and I am going to buy one for our home soon.

I would have you recommend this unit. it was pretty much plug-and-play and works with great speed. I have had no problems.

I use wi-fi constantly and for several devices at once. My laptop, desktop, phone, gaming systems, and a small assortment of smart home devices need a router they can rely on, and so far, this is that router. The setup is easy with the included guide or app, and once connected, I haven't had anything lose its signal. I cant speak to how well the range would reach to the far corners of a large house with multiple floors, but as far as I'm concerned this is ideal. Streaming videos proceed without a hiccup, and the few times I've had noticeably slow web page loading, it seems to be the fault of the server the site uses, since it is always the same one. Now, I've only had this for under a month, so it's possible that over time I will notice some quirks. But so far, it's all good.

Bought this item over a year ago and have had zero problems with it. I am able to stream 4 TV’s off of it, 1 desktop computer, 2 PlayStation 5’s, and multiple phones/tablets with no problems!

The router is extremely fast, and the set up couldn't be easier! I've always used Netgear routers, and I needed something to reach the far corners of the house for streaming 4K video. This one does the trick and works perfectly! Highly recommended.

I was looking for a router to replace my old WRT-54G, but I wanted something rock solid - just like the 54G. After reading multiple reviews and looking around at Small Net Builder, I decided to purchase this. It does often come on sale (dropping to 150 or so) and sometimes at that price with a bundled modem (see other websites/email promos for that price). Overall, I recommend it. The 5G side is definitely faster, but remember that you don't get near the distance out of it!

Was very easy to set up! Everyone is much happier with our data throughput across the house. Other reviews warn that the 5G doesn't have a great range and this is true but we found our throughput needs were equally met with the standard mode... ipads, phones, computers, printers... all happily humming along on this new network and most importantly the children are happy! Have been using for about 6 weeks now. (I researched tons of routers before settling on trying this one.)

This router was recommended to me by a tech at Best Buy. It works great. My range has extended and the speed is good.

Excellent. Full area coverage in 2 story home. I trusted employee opinion on reliability and coverage area. Wise move!
