I went to Best Buy to inquire what router would be my best option for the type of use and the of devices connected to the device. Hands down, the Netgear NightHawk 1900 would satisfy my needs. The instructions for the install were easy to follow and entire install went smooth. I have used the router for about a year and the unit is transparent. Great Buy.

Handles multiple devices with ease

It kept dropping connection, forcing us to have to reconfigure the connection repeatedly. Since switching to the Nighthawk we have had no issues of dropped connections despite having several Google Homes which have been causing issues for some routers. Only issue I had was the app froze up the first time I tried to configure the router so I had to switch to using a laptop.

It was very easy to set up, and easily discoverable by all my devices (except Dish Network). Not sure why I am having a problem with Dish and my tv, but I don't think it is the router. Easily streamed movies from Amazon Prime to my tv and had very good signal distribution for my fiber optic Internet. The signal is strong enough throughout my home. I have only used it for 2 weeks before leaving home for a month, so I will be able to give an update if needed after a few more weeks at home.
