I messed around with some other lower priced netgear products but the QoS just wasnt there. I went with the nighthawk based on all the other reviews. I was more than impressed with the results and ease of use/setup mind you I have a technical techy background. I now get the full bandwidth I'm expecting and then some and have been paying for on Comcast. This is connected and on wi-fi. No issues after a month of use.

I have a 2000Sqft home and this thing has range! I can be out-front of my house and still get signal! I would highly recommend this route to anyone that is serious about their wireless devices working properly. I have over 48 wireless devices communicating with this router all day long, and never had any issues! Home automation takes a bulk of the devices but my heavy streaming kids and wife don't complain one bit.

2600 Sq ft house with 2 floors and I have WiFi throughout. Set up was extremely simple.

I set this up about a month ago after being mad about poor signal quality. I live in a tri level, and would experience diminished signal throughout the house with my old, all in one mediacomm router. This thing blasts signal throughout the entire house, and I still get 48% signal in my next door neighbors garage. Worth the price.

Very easy to set up and use, and what a difference in the speed of my wireless network. I thought it was my ISPN, but a speed test revealed it was my wireless router. The nighthawk is very intuitive and a good buy for almost any user. The only exception I can think of is the really seriou gamers might want a higher end model.

This router was very easy to set up. I have had no problems connecting any of my devices up to it yet. Bought this for a new home that is 2700sqft and I have no problems getting coverage all over the house, garage, and back yard. Speed is awesome as well.

I have owned this router for a few months and have had no trouble with it at all. It was easy to setup--very easy. The WIFI signal strength is good all over the different floors of the house and the yard (very good reception) even though the router is located in the basement. The cost was a little high, but I really like the router and now think it worth it. I have around 11 devices logged onto via WIFI.

Please excuse my non-technical review... This router has great range and reliability. Easy to setup and I've made use of the additional ports. Not the cheapest router on the shelves but if you're looking for extended range in a multi level home, the nighthawk will do the job.

After doing some research on my 4-year router (high-powered Linksys) I learned a lot about older technology. First of all using maximum bandwidth wears out a router over time and they do need to be replaced. Secondly the MU (multi-user) functions of this router give everyone the same level of bandwidth whereas older technologies give the first user the most bandwidth and then it digresses for each user after that. This new Night Hawk router in my 3-story house has done an excellent job and I spent maybe 10 minutes swapping out routers. I renamed the new router the same as the old and so all of the 10 to 15 devices in our household recognized it immediately. We didn't buy top of the line but in the middle after some good counsel from a very helpful sales person at Best Buy. We are pleased with the results so far after the first month. I would buy this one again.

This router is truly a beast! Before this router I could never get good connection while playing Xbox one. I was lagging every match. I hooked this beast up and I said goodbye to lag forever. My Internet now flies with whatever I throw at it. It never skips a beat and you really get what you pay for with this router!
