I changed from my old wifi router to this one in hopes of being able to have wifi throughout my whole house. It did not disappoint!! The range on this router far superseded my 3000 square foot house. My house sits at the back of our property with a long driveway to the road. The router gave me service to the very end of the driveway!!

Best router for under $200. Nice range and no more lagging. I can sit on my back patio with my laptop and get great signal. Very easy to setup and the Genie lets you control everything. Highly recommended.

Works great, easy you use and very satisfied with the overall performance

We upgraded from a wireless N router. Did not need the greatest option out there since anything was going to be an improvement but we were ditching satellite to use streaming options only. Went middle of the road. Couldn't be happier. Rarely a hiccup with streaming!

My house is long vertically and our old router did not push the signal through the walls throughout the house. The Nighthawk was an instant and easy upgrade. The moment it was in place internet became strong everyway versus being non-existant in much of the house prior.

Best range and fastest speed I've come across with a router

Nice looks. Easy to set up. Excellent speed and no dead zones over 3 levels of a fairly large home. Using it for streaming without any issues. Replaced a 3yr old router and quite an improvement.

The number 1 need from your wi-fi is dependable service, including sufficient signal strength in coverage area. This unit services my old 2 story farmhouse compleatly. Strong signal throughout house on both floors even though it is located on the lower level. A great unit at a good price and good customer support. Recently there was a report that this unit was succeptable to hacking and the same day this was reported there was an immediate fix released, so you can be secure in the fact that there is after sale care and support. That is service dependability at its best.

This router has great signal strength and easy to set up

I bought this router because my roommate and I needed a router capable of handling two gamers who both also like to stream HD videos to our respective game systems. Router is everything that we could have hoped for.

this was an easy set up performed well out of the box so far no problems

So far I love this router. I have a 2tb external hard drive hooked plugged into the usb port on the router allowing me to share movies and files with all of my devices. I currently have AT&T internet and have had zero connection or lag issues. I have a Wink hub, a Philips hue hub, and my swann dvr connected via ethernet cable. Through my wifi I have the following: 9 Commercial electric recessed lights 4 Philips hue white lights 2 Philips Hue color lights 2 Amazon Echo dots 1 Amazon Echo 1 Wink relay 1 Ecobee3 thermostat with 3 remote sensors 1 insignia smart switch 1 insignia smart outlet 1 wifi tilt/pan/zoom camera 3 Tv's 1 Blueray player 1 fire stick 3 tablets 2 cellphones So far I have had this router for a little over 2 months and have had zero connection issues. My home is a little over 2000 sq feet and is a single story house. The router is located in the middle of the home and I have a good connection in every room. So far I am very pleased and I plan on continuing to add more smart home devices to my wifi network.

I had a less expensive wireless router... couldn't get reception beyond the next room. Later bought an extender since we have a pretty large home, but even then the signal was less than dependable. The Nighthawk is awesome! Signal strength in every area of my home... even the basement. Highly recommend if you have a large area to cover.

Easy setup providing good coverage throughout the house

DO NOT BUY ! ! ! Bought this router about 2 years ago and it WAS amazing. Increased speeds from about 150mbps to about 240mbps and having the 2.4 and 5 dual bands helps a lot as we have a lot of smart home devices and something is almost always streaming video if not multiple devices with the wife and kids and the dual bands help it not get bogged down. HOWEVER about 4 or 5 months ago Netgear updated its firmware for this router. Since then we have internet maybe half the time as it constantly drops. Even if your tech savvy and download and re-upload older firmware versions it does the same thing. If you search on Google you will find hundreds of forums and posts all talking about the same issue and is so frustrating and has become a piece of JUNK. Netgear’s customer service is horrible and if you can even get ahold of someone no resolution is provided. I was very pleased and held them highly but won’t be purchasing any Netgear products from now on!!!

Installation was easy, range is great, speed is great!

It is without a doubt the best router i ever had. It will stick to your network like no other. One day you easily set it up and your done for life. VERY EASY TO SET UP and very FAST, a great improvement and maybe the best router for HD STREAMING. I have servers, clients, voip, four switches, two PS3's, 4 computers, wired and wireless equipment totaling 23 devices on the network and it just work smoothly and flawlessly. BEST ROUTER EVER, PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT ENJOY THE BEST. A must if you do a lot of HD streaming!
