I had previously used a number of different Netgear routers...none of them had the signal strength needed for my large home. The Nighthawk was easy to install and solved a long-standing access issue. Recommended highly...so much so, that I bought a second one for a second home!

This Netgear WiFI Router was easy to set up and I had it working for my wifi within about 10 minutes. House coverage is much improved with this Router and I can now stream Netflix, You Tube etc through my Smart TV in multiple different rooms without interruptions or streaming lag.

This product is as advertised. Fantastic range as well. We watch football outside on Sundays with 2 laptops going for fantasy football. It works perfectly 50 feet away and outside the house. Super easy to set up too.

For the price. You can't really do better. I have been struggling with my internet connection and speeds over the last few years. I bought new Ethernet cords and everything. Turns out. It was my old router. My old router was only capable of running speeds of up to 100mbps. My current internet speeds are supposed to be about 200mbps. This router allows me to reach my allowed speeds. Range for the wifi is also amazing. I can get connection from my parking lot.

its an excellent router but I switched to the R8000 model. With the ac1900 I had to use an extender because of the dead zone in my home. I switched to ac3200 as I like the three bands, it's super fast and do not need an extender. Both routers are great but the lateral is great for the size of my home.

Great WiFi router for its price tag. Great for pairing with other devices.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk Dual Band model is an outstanding router. It provides two network nodes, very high performance for both my wireless and Ethernet requirements! The installation was straightforward into my broadband ISP and lends itself well to our home/business requirements.

I had AT & T internet service I switched to Comcast and instead of renting their Gateway I decided to get my own set up. What an improvement this is from that piece of junk of Gateway that I had from AT & T, also this way I'll be saving the ten dollar monthly fee from renting one from Comcast. At home we have 2 PS4, 4 laptops, 4 smart phones and 2 tablets and this router doesn't slow down the signal and the range you get is amazing plus it has a different channel for your phones and a different channel for the rest of your gadgets. Plenty of signal.

Paired with a AC wireless PCI card on a desktop computer I am seeing speed and bandwidth similar to the direct ethernet connection I previously had run. I am able to stream plex movies in HD with no problem to my chromecast.

Installed easily and worked fine. Soon however, my computer started to experience episodes of not being able to connect with the router. It usuially is very brief, but will stop a download and make me start over. Frustrating, but it doesn't happen often enough for me do do anything about it as yet.

I bought one of these for my son while visiting he has a two story home with a basement he needed faster wireless and better coverage. I was so impressed with how much coverage in is house with the faster speeds I bought one for my home. Much smaller home but I use security cameras on my driveway was only getting one to three bars out there now I'm at full bars where the cameras are mounted. Our wireless network is faster and our house has full coverage in every room. Handles all the cell phones, IPads, Laptops, TiVo and streaming movies and music with no problem. Awesome purchase.

I run anywhere from 3 devices to 10 at the same time and it seams to work fine. We have 4 smart phones, 3 computers (wireless), a printer, the TV, and an iPad. We have friends and family over and they use their smartphone too. Have not noticed any drop outs or slow downs.

We needed to boost our signal and this was recommended by an associate. Worked great for two months then just stopped working. Night hawk replaced it under warranty, but we had to pay shipping. So tired of electronics breaking so fast and having to deal with it!! The New one seems to work fine.

I purchased this with my sons gaming computer to replace our Dlink. We fought over the wifi and latency. Easy set up with a printed booklet and an downloadable app. Easy to use control panel. I was able to wire the gaming computer and he switches the ethernet cord between the computer and XBox. I split up the other devices between the 2 WiFi channels. The WiFi handles PS4, Apple computer, 2 IPads and 5 smart TV's, a couple of air printers, 3 phones - no latency. WiFi speeds down: 50 up: 20. Signal reaches across the house 80 feet, through 2 floors.

I was looking to replace my older N900 router and connect 802.11ac capable macbook pro at fastest possible speed. I was able to achieve just that with R7000 router, now the connection speed is ranging from 878Mbps (already twice as much compared to older router) to 1300Mbps.

I had a Netgear N750 before I purchased this Netgear R7000. The R7000 has terrific range than my previous N750. I can now access Wi-Fi in rooms 100 feet away that I was unable to do so before. Not only does this router look like a stealth fighter, it also performs like one.

This thing really works. We use RCN high speed internet supposedly guaranteed speeds of 155 mbps. We tried the internet provider's router/modem. So disappointing. 7 mbps tops download speed. Technician swapped it with just a regular Arris modem minus the router because of compatibility issues with the modem/router combo. Solution - got this from Best Buy, tried it big difference! This dual band wifi booster is awesome. After trying it the first time on 2.4 Ghz we got 180+ mbps, but on 5 Ghz it was 235+ mbps download speeds. Upload is 10-20 mbps. I mean this is amazing! Well worth the money.

I had too many wi-fi devices for my older NETGEAR router and couldn't stream to my Roku device. Also wanted to have 5G network for home use and have a secured guest network. This router had it all. Easy to install. Great range in the house and out in my back yard and deck.

I wanted the best, and from what reviews are on the net- this is pretty much it. You can find ones that are more expensive, but why? Out of the box this machine has great wireless strength (I have a 2200 SQ FT home) no matter where I am. Have not tired it outside since the weather is crummy. Make sure you update to the newest firmware when setting it up. This model is slick looking, but it is much larger than most wireless set ups. I wanted something that will handle the load of multiple PC's running for LAN parties- I think I found the right one!

Excellent for the price. Though I have had a few cases of dropped connection. Definite increase in wifi speed.
