Great router, extensive functionality. Resolved our issues of spotty coverage within the house as well as constant reboot. Solid, fast, reminds me of Batman when I look at it (hence the nighthawk name I suspect). Well worth the money. A little pricey but you tend to get what you pay for.

OK, now I've been using this for a couple of weeks. I had returned a Linksys ac1900 because I could never get the USB ports to work with a USB drive. Either port, any drive. This one worked out of the box. Yay! I upgraded to get gigabit ethernet and I do notice the improvement. My old Netgear had to be reset almost weekly, and got to be even more. This one is faster for wifi (as well as, of course, ethernet), has broader range, and NO RESETS REQUIRED. How happy I am. This has a lot more features which I'm still to investigate.

Easy setup and it seems speed and range improved from my last router. Happy customer.

This router is easy to set up, has great range, and strong signal in a flat with several rooms. It definitely has been the favorite one I've bought thus far.

this nighthawk is great it reaches farther than any I have had works in all areas of my home. My house is 2 story and I can still pick the signal up when I get to end of my driveway. That's about 75 yards away. As long as it's working wife happy life is good.

Take my word for it, invest in a good router. I'm used to very poor, unreliable WiFi from my old apartment complex. Now, I have no problem streaming or surfing (main uses). I would absolutely recommend this. I have a laptop and several Android mobile devices.

Easy to connect and use. This router works great with Comcast. I increased my speed and my old router could not handle the upgrade. With the Netgear Nighthawk, the internet does no lag or lose connection.

I bought this after moving to my new house. My regular carrier said their internet was the best and fastest but after weeks of having patchy Internet in different parts of my house,I was advised to get this router which has essentially sorted out the problem.

This router is amazing and worth the money. Hands down! While shopping for the router, I thought about going with the less expensive one but am so glad I didn't. I never have to worry about how many people at my home are on the internet now. Its incredible!

I upgraded from my Netgear N900 to this Nighthawk. I have about 30+ devices on the network with my large family and this thing handles it very nicely with both the regular and guest networks broadcasting on 2.4 and 5.8Ghz. Now the only bottleneck is my internet connection which is as big as it gets around my parts. Same great features of all the other Netgear routers, but my favorite improvement was to the Parental Controls. I've been using LPC for about 4 years now and it works great. Best part is that now I can manually choose what level of security each individual device gets. Since my children are all different ages I no longer need to fuss with bypass accounts, just find out what MAC or IP the device is, find it in the Netgear Genie app, rename it and select the protection level (I also keep a spreadsheet of everyone's device and corresponding MAC address for reference).

I bought this router because the 3 year old one I had was struggling to handle the load of 3 computers, an Xbox One, and a PS3. I bought this new router and I have had no more issues. I have even added an iPod, Surface and a wifi enabled blu-ray player and not had any issues.

tho cable co provides their own but I opted to purchase my own as some day I see ditching cable all together.. i currently have a internet/cable package w 100Mbps and it seems to handle it great.. was recommended by both a neighbor as well as worker at BBuy

Easy to set-up, great coverage and speed for everything we use and stream. No buffering, just great internet, TV, etc.!!!

Best router ever I ever had. Work really good and better than most.

This does what it needs to and having the dual band really helps direct the wi-fi traffic accordingly in the house. Being able to set priority streaming to the xbox makes our just okay internet connection really pretty awesome. Set up is a bit cumbersome but worth the effort.

My family kept losing internet connection and my husband did some research and determined it was our router, it was too old to handle all the electronics connected. The Best Buy employee recommended this one for the best price; it has been a lifesaver.

We have bought about 20 of these to date already. We have great results and our customers love it. The range is the farthest of any other router in this price range. Our customers love the app that comes with the router and they can control their kids online time.

Excellent gear, very powerful and fast with nice range. I've had full strength in the backyard and the garage. I've also got a mini cell repeater plugged into it because of bad reception at the house, and it has significantly improved my cell strength and minimized call drops. Router is faster than the cable speed we pay for, so it's nice to know that it is not the weak link in our system. It's not cheap but I think for something that will probably be good for your use for several years and can handle google fiber speeds and stuff, it's worth the money. Easy plug and play for the settings also.
